We were looking for breakfast the Sunday before Labor Day as we were traveling toward Maine and found Margie's Dream here on Trip Advisor. And what a find it was. It sits in an older neighborhood and doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, there is a small counter with seats and 8 or so booths. People we're standing... More

Wow what a find thanks trip advisor!!!! My husband had the corned beef scramble and loved it I had the eggs Benedict without hollandaise and without English muffin as I am gluten free, but truth be told I missed neither the eggs were perfection and the hash browns crisped to perfection. What made it even more enjoyable the waitress was... More

Came here for brunch (11:30am) on Sunday before the Fisher Cats baseball game. We were able to walk in and get a table right away, although several parties arrived right after we did. Son ordered kielbasa and baked beans with a side single French toast. He loved it. I ordered The Golden Dream Duo (scrambled eggs with spinach on top... More

I had a corned beef hash and cheddar omelet that was delicious and my wife had poached eggs over spinach and potato cakes topped with hollandaise that was excellent. Hard to find but worth looking for.

What a great place for an excellent breakfast or a satisfying lunch. A little out of the way, but well worth the find. Rather small so sometimes a short wait to get seated but, believe me, the wait is worth it. Service is great. You can tell the waitress loves people and her job. Very clean. Give it a try.... More

Discovered this great little diner for the first time last weekend. My boyfriend and I LOVED this place. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the door by a lovely waitress who you can tell loves her job. The menu has something for everyone. The food was great. The service was great. Everything about this place was great.... More

As you enter the four seat counter is immediately on your right, if one of the stools is occupied you will have an up close encounter with that person at the counter. There are eight booths, with space to wait just past the booths. I arrived at a time when five booths were available, and although I was by myself... More

Thought we would check it out again after 30 years. Can't say anything but great home town cooking and people. Just as good as it was back then.

A friend of ours recommended the Diner this summer. We now go about twice a month and we usually go on a weekday around 9AM. Parking isn't an issue at that time, but we have had other visits since when it is. I usually run inside to make sure we can get a booth--as seating is pretty limited--Maybe about 30... More

This restaurant offers very good breakfast fare. We have not tried it for lunch yet but do plan on doing so soon. Tables are usually all occupied but if you wait a few minutes someone gets up to leave and the staff clear the tables quickly. My only issue is that the seats cannot be moved and they are very...
