Following the success of T-BONES, the first Cactus Jack's opened in 1995 in Manchester. In 2007, the Laconia location became New Hampshire's first dual casual dining concept - with both Cactus Jack's and T-BONES - on Lake Winnipesaukee. While it keeps up the tradition of "homemade" dishes, the look and menu at CJ's has its own style. Attentive servers are always ready to serve guests authentic Southwestern, Tex-Mex, Cajun, and barbecue dishes that are unmatched in New Hampshire

good to know

The weather forecast made us change our meeting place. Went to CJ's on Willow st. in Manchester NH. instead. Had a great meal (my fav.) Fajitas. The entire party raved about the food and the service. Will be back soon.

We returned here after a bad experience a while back. Today our server was friendly and very attentive. We ordered a couple nice cold draughts along with grilled veggie paninis. The sandwiches were perfectly prepared.

They have very good sirloin tips, plus it comes with sides. Worth the money. Great bar staff. Very friendly and efficient.

During a recent visit to Manchester, NH, we stumbled across Cactus Jack's (aka CJ's). It has a Tex-Mex style feel upon entering. We were greeted and seated within a few seconds of our arrival. Our waitress was helpful, as we indicated we had never been to the restaurant before. She had some suggestions and answered our questions. We chose a... More

This restaurant is owned by same people that own T-Bones and Copper Door - All great restaurants in the area. Cactus Jack's has great food. Their appetizers are very large and delicious. Service is always friendly and good.

A good bet for appetizers and a cold beer and a game on the bar t.v. The service is always friendly, accommodating and good. The food has become a little too predictable. The espinaca dip app (9.99) reminded me of velvet a cheese with no "spinach" character. The jumbalaya was a salty disappointment with one shrimp and too little rice.... More

Planned to meet a friend for lunch half way between her home and mine. Looked on TripAdvisor for a restaurant near the Mall of New Hampshire. Hoped for something "local" with great reviews. Cactus Jack's was our pick and we were not disappointed. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Probably would not have chosen it based on curb appeal... More

Our family has mixed feeling about Mexican food, at Cactus Jack's everyone was happy! our meals were all excellent, those of us who love Mexican were very happy, as were the ones who don't "they had the Lazy Man's Lobster" Our waitress was a pro and very efficient.

Perhaps the title is unfair, as I'm not from NH, and have only been to one other Mexican restaurant in NH, which was also surprisingly good. The food was fresh and tasty, service fast and friendly, and the outdoor patio with bar is just awesome. I had the Jamaican margarita and it was just the way I like it, low... More
