Great service and great coffee!

We were exhausted from a day of sightseeing and stopped in for a pick-me-up. They treated us like royalty! Even made a fresh pot of coffee for me (this was around 4 p.m. and I said it wasn't necessary but they did anyway). Hubby is a tea-drinker, they provided him with hot water and tea bags... read more

OMG, this restaurants competes with only 1 other place (in CA) for the absolute worst food I have ever [not] eaten. Once for breakfast that I mostly ate, regrettably. And one time when I went to a luncheon at the Rotary Club where it simply was not worth eating this horrible, greasy food. I simply cannot understand how any cook/chef... More

Prices were ok, food was mediocre. Stopped for a quick bite while walking Main St. shops with my husband.

Took a mini vacation with daughter and grandkids. This is a great family restaurant for breakfast. Friendly staff and generous portions. They were very accomodating when we told them kids had nut allergies. Everything was delicious including the coffee. Warm, welcoming and never felt rushed.

Had chicken burger ($4 something) and side order of fries ($2.99 extra). Chicken burger was good (not a little round one, more like a breast) but home made fries were a little overcooked (crunchy and brown) for my liking. Not bad for a $10 lunch (had a coke too).

If you ever stop by the topic of the town get the homemade white toast it is delicious. The food is good but I felt the scrambled eggs were a little dry and needed a little more flavor. But the toast was delicious!

This doesn't look good from the outside or the inside. For is it was a quick stopover on long drive from Vernont to coastal Maine. Decor is dated and the place looks like it could do with a good clean. But put that aside and the food (breakfast in our case) was very reasonable both in price and quality. Blueberry... More

Had breakfast over independence day weekend. Found the restaurant very dirty. In the 2nd room, the rug was extremely dirty, looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a generation, and our table had all manner of debris on the floor. Food wasn't bad, but I won't visit there again because of the cleanliness.

Good small town restaurant. Solid, all 'round menu. Breakfast is soooo good. I've never had a bad meal there, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. The owners are community minded; each Thanksgiving, they have a free dinner at which one and all are welcome, very traditional foods are served. We went one year; it was good.

Good place right here!! Fair prices, good food. Conveniently located right on Main Street. Buffet looked good but I had to try the scallops. Wife got a burger. Both awesome.
