Friendly place and great BBQ

Great BBQ spot in town. Informal pub like atmosphere and family gathering place outside and inside. Good portions and sides. Take out also

Good stuff, cheap! I had the smoked meatloaf sandwich (so much meat I didn't need the fresh roll it came on) and my wife had the pulled chicken sandwich, both were excellent as was a side of Mac 'n' cheese. Not true 'Q, but there's a smoker on site and it obviously is well used.

No pulled chiken. No ribs. No fun. Mac and cheese so sad. Potatoes salad ok but salad. Plastic dishes. Cold plate. Be there done that. See you never.

Great beer and BBQ. Rustic. We enjoyed sitting outside people watching. Nacho's are amazing per fussy hubby. I loved the chunky chili. TRY IT. Great fresh picnic style food.

Although we had known about this place we had never tried it before, so last night my wife and I decided to give it a go - we were not disappointed. The service was prompt and friendly and there was a full bar. The atmosphere is casual. We were served drinks while we perused the menu - we both ordered... More

Finally stopped in for a late lunch at the Screamin Boar. We shared the 3 meat plate - it came with 2 sides and 1 piece of cornbread. We chose the brisket, the pulled pork, and the meatloaf - really tasty! We thought the portions were generous - quick ordering and our waitress was very friendly. We would go back... More

Service was friendly here. Food was plentiful. The 3 meat combo was 2-3 meals for me. Cornbread is very good. Beer cold. Not fancy, but cozy. Recommended by the locals.

This place is casual and intimate with great service. The pulled pork is good but all the sides-corn bread, beans, slaw, macaroni and cheese, are all great. A good selection of craft beers are also featured.

The food was mediocre . I would say okay at its best . Not to impressed at the staff they don't bring you your food . I got the brisket it was dry and plain no amount of bbq sauce could help it out not returning again and I am a local.

Horrible excuse for BBQ and they don't answer the phone at 11:30 when they're supposedly open. 2 thumbs down. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Take a drive to Bath, ME to have real BBQ at Beale Street.
