We had not been to Bailiwicks before their move from the basement of Thayer's Inn. Their new location is much friendlier and inviting than the dungeon they had in their previous location. We found the waitstaff to be friendly, attentive and very professional. Given what appears to be a waitstaff that is very young, the restaurant has done an outstanding... More

Been to Bailiwicks several times and always have a good experience... Friendly staff and good food. Had the sushi grade tuna skewers app and it was outstanding! Anne was our waitress last time we were there and she was so sweet and friendly. Overall a nice place to spend an evening...

What a great place! It's set up in a funky building; half restaurant, half health food shop, but it's a gem. It was an icy weekend and it seemed the only thing on TV was highway wrecks so I won't comment on programming :p I had the Switchback Ale which I believe is a Vermont brew; delicious. The calamari was... More

we have enjoyed Bailiwicks for several years now, but wonder at some of the details that seem to spoil what could be an excellent dining experience, rather than an "OK" experience. 1. why no espresso..? it was served in the old location, surely a new machine could be purchased? 2. those round lopsided bowls have to go.No way to put... My husband and I had wanted to visit Bailiwicks in Littleton for years and finally did in their new location. We had made reservations, so were seated immediately by a window overlooking the main street of Littleton. A nice table and view. The hostess was delightful, extremely friendly. I do have to comment on the chairs. As soon as we... More

Bailiwicks is a good restaurant for the small town of Littletown. It features good, fresh food and charming decors that is not stodgy or dated. It is a perfect place for a romantic dinner, or a special gathering of family or friends.

We liked the new location across the street from the hotel dining room they occupied last year before the flood. They honored our request for a certain table - thank you. Two dinners were portion appropriate (tuna & pasta/chicken dishes) The oven roasted cod & the vegetarian Ratatouille with shrimp added were very inadequate servings. $ 9 to add 4... More

Went there for dinner, the bottom line is this, when my entree came to the table it smelled like rotten fish. The smell of the fish took my appetite away. When the waitrees cleared the plates, the manager which I may add never even bothered to come over to our table, took a bite of the entree, and said it... More

I thought we were going back to the restaurant we had been to several times and I was surprised that Baliwicks had moved. I was really looking forward to pizza, but had to settle for pulled pork, fries, cole slaw and Pig Eye Ale. The fries were wonderful, the cole slaw was too bland for my tastes and the pulled... We discovered Bailiwicks by chance several years ago and sometimes will make an overnight trip to Littleton pretty much just so that we can have dinner there. I loved the old location underneath the Tayer's Inn, but I have to say their new spot is really great too - a bit more modern, and they now have a terrace and... More
