The John Stark Coffee House is NOT closed; it is very definitely OPEN FOR BUSINESS with the same great atmosphere and breakfast! We go there every time we visit the White Mountain area.

We liked our breakfast here in '09 so much that we stopped here again this year. The pastries were especially good - all homemade - and served by another beautiful daughter! Who could resist!

Hubby and I stopped on a whim as we traveled through New England. I was craving a pancake. The owner is sweet. The establishment is clean and homey. She whipped up delicious blueberry pancakes with good black tea. Love my tea! Stop by if you are on this beautiful road.

Cozy, homey, prompt service. Good coffee and great prices. Definitely worth a stop if in Lisbon or travelling beyond! Of note, my partner LOVED the quiche!

I live in the area but recently this spring I journeyed through some towns to shop. While I stopped in Lisbon i decided to eat at a close coffee shop. The food was really good and I enjoyed the owner's atmosphere consisting of pictures of war veterens from the area, local artwork, and old time music. Everything was delicious and... More

The John Stark Coffee house is a great place to get breakfast, have a cup of coffee, read the paper, get online (with the free wireless), and have good conversation. The food is delicious and Teresa offers a variety of pastries as well as breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, waffles, eggs, and paninis. She is a courteous and gracious host to all... More
