Good for families or ski buddies!

We checked in when we arrives and were told it would be about 20 minutes which is great when you are travelling with a 6yo who has been doing snow activities all day! Went on Monday of restaurant week. Pre Fixe three course meal was incredible because of the crab cake entree. Lots of luscious creamy crab and great seasoning. Salad had way too much dressing but toasted hazelnuts were lovely. Toll house cookie dessert was amazing. My husband's flatbread was pretty good. The steak pie had too much mashed potato and the... We were heading up to North Conway for my Birthday for a few days and staying in Bretton Woods. So, I started to see what was on that side of the Kankamangus Highway for restaurants. This restaurant seemed to get excellent reviews. As soon as we were seated and got our crackers and cheese, we began to see why. The... More

My wife and I ate here last Friday. We called ahead even though it was very busy we got a table shortly after we arrived. There were free cheese spreads and crackers while you waited and a large fire roaring. I didn't care too much for the Common Man beer which is basically a SmuttyNose offering. However, I really liked... More

Although we visit Lincoln frequently we'd never done this Common Man location, probably because we usually arrive sweaty and smelly from hiking. But on a Saturday evening the day before a hike we gave this a go. Very glad we did. Fresh, excellent food and a wonderful variety skewed toward homey favorites. The pork tenderloin with cider BBQ sauce was... More

My boyfriend and I wandered in here after skiing Loon expecting a chain-like feel, but weren't we surprised! We walked into the huge barn-turned-bar side of the building with glowing fireplace and cozy couches and felt much better about our decision. While the wait for a table was quite long, we had no trouble grabbing seats at the bar and... More

Place was packed and for very good reasons. Our waiter Rick was kind and friendly. The food was delicious. Menu had several good choices but what I enjoyed most were the little eccentric details: comp cheese and crackers, bill in a book with a side of white chocolate, and the charm of the restaurant itself. Major wow factor: my husband... More

I've been to the Common man many time and always had a great meal. It has a casual feel, a hot spot for skiers and everyone else. Can get crowded but they seem to seat everyone at a good pace. I like the roasted duck it is cooked to perfection, also love the escargot appetizer. Tried almost everything on the... More

traveling alone, reasonably quick service, very good food, very nice ambiance. Loved the big fire place in the bar, and the happy people in large groups. Wide menu choices.
