My husband and I stumbled across this place almost by accident. Growing up, every year my family vacationed at The Mill, which has since become the InnSeason resort (which doesn't seem to have done the area any favors, but that's another review for another day). I have fond memories of wandering the mall attached to the hotel -- on a... More

We stopped in for breakfast and were not expecting much based on the decor/location. However, the service was outstanding and while the food took a while to come out, it was well worth the wait. Best pancakes, perfectly fluffy and delicious. My boyfriend got the french toast with strawberry compote and it was perfection. Every bite was delicious and it... More

The menu is on the smaller side, no waffles. The kids pancakes were good. The stuffed french toast was presented nicely and the best part was the fresh whipped cream. There were only two pieces of toast. The pulled pork in the omelet lacked flavor. Maybe dinner would be better. The decor was a little drab and didn't feel very... More

It was a Tuesday morning and we were in search for a breakfast place on foot. The first place we tried was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. So we walked further down the road and saw a sign "Texas Toast, breakfast only." The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, set back off the road, easily missed. We found the... More

We loved everything about our breakfast. We have told many people about it because we want them to keep serving great food with a smile early in the morning. Try them, you'll like them!

The only thing better than the service is the food and both are incredible a hidden Gem in the middle of the mountains. Special thanks to Mary our host cook waitress and new north country neighbor. The restaurant wasn't even officially open and she made us the most fantastic meal, who ever said hospitality is dead hasn't been here. Feels... More

Holy! Cow! The service was beyond top notch. I was fortunate enough to get a handsome young lad, Tyler. He was charming, attentive to my every need, and sincerely dedicated to his customers. Mary and Don, the owners, are masters in the kitchen. The attention to detail that Don puts into his salads is admirable, and down-right incredible. Mary's omelets--... More

We have been going to this place for breakfast and dinner a couple times a year for the better part of 7 years and it never fails to be absolutely amazing. For dinner the restaurant is known as The Pig's Ear and for breakfast it is Texas Toast. The dinner menu, like most true barbeque places, is simple (think pulled... More
