The service was great, the food, not so much. I ordered the fried sea scallops expecting large, fresh, battered or breaded scallops and instead received what appeared to be scallops from a frozen premade package, rather than made fresh in the restaurant. The breading came off of the scallop and was much like that on a frozen fish stick....not what... More

Spouse and I had dinner here with cousin who lived in area; cousin recommended the place. . The food was quite good and the nightly special ( 2 lobsters for $12.99) was a real bargain. I had broiled fish and it and the sides were excellent. We had to wait for service - even to make our pre meal bar... More

2 Lobster roll, 1 soda, excellent service by Virginia : $37.47 before tax and gratuities. Their Special of the day is usually their best deal. But $37.47 for 2 lobster roll and 1 soda is certainly too much.

food was ok, but I server was poor. He seemed to be bored with his job and wanted to go home. Not what we expected from the Weathervane.

Let me begin by saying this is the restaurant I eat out at most frequently...20-30 times a year. When it comes to seafood; no one does it better for freshness, portions(gigantic), presentation, and particularly fried seafood is the best I've ever had. Unlike most other seafood places, this place uses only FRESH fish. No formed, frozen, portion controls, or blended... More

Whenever I'm in the area I always eat here at least once and usually more than once. Lately it seems like it is slipping a bit but still a good place to satisfy a seafood craving at comparatively good prices. Their wicked good twins on Thursday nights are great. They seem to have a high staff turnover but I've never... More

Wife had a lobster roll, I had a lobster pie, both with baked potato. Potatoes had been around for a day or two, roll good, pie greasy, lobster in the pie could have gotten better at the frozen food section of your super market. Service unorganized and unresponsive. Facility full, depressing and falling apart. Needs attention to deferred maintenance, from... More

This chain of seafood restaurants was started in 1969 in Kittery, Maine. We have been in several all over. This particular place in West Lebanon is resting on the company's laurels!!! Starting at the broken threshold of the door that is damaged and uneven enough to trip on, the place needs to be upgraded. Here we are in May, and... More

We had lunch here before heading to the southern part of the state. We were return clients and had eaten here many times before. My husband ordered the Lobster roll with a side of onion rings -- well, he got a hot dog bun with about a quarter of a cup of lobster, and the rest mayo, celery, etc -... More

Way better than a chain food outlet like Chili's, Applebee's, The 99, etc. The seafood is always fresh, the fryers and griddles are clean, so you don't taste what the last 50 people ordered. Portions are more than satisfying. Seating is much like any other coastal fry shop, and Clean. Highly recommended!
