Pleasant Sunday Evening dinner

After several local places had long waiting lines, we tried 7 Barrel. First thing was it didn't feel like a noisy pub but a very quiet and enjoyable place for dinner. Most of the diners were mid to older couples- no loud beer drinking folks ( maybe that happens on Saturday night ). Their Quechee... read more

Seven Barrel Brewery was recommended to us by the front desk clerk at our hotel -and i made sure to find her the next day to thank her. This is a great place - with a wide selection of beers and a good comfort food menu. Service was good. We both had cottage pie - delicious - and a few... More

I stopped with my family for a quick lunch on our way to Boston. Freddy, our waiter was fantastic. My wife, my kids and I all agreed he was the best waiter we have ever had. We enjoyed over hearing his banter at every table he went to within earshot. He worked the room and got smiles out of everyone,... More

We did not have a meal, we just popped in to try some beers. The bartender was very attentive, offering helpful suggestions; he was clearly knowledgeable and a fan of the beer. We found the beers to be average, but with very interesting blends. We also tried the lemoncello layer cake, which was quite good.

Really great beer. Especially the Double Red. Chose chicken and leek soup with puff pastry. Bartender was a lot of fun and funny too. Engaging

Stopped by quickly for a break. Nice selection of beers. Seems to be quite a few regulars who come there. I didn't try the food but some were saying how good the soups are.

This was the last stop of a bachelor party brewery tour of the area. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a good selection of food and beer. I had a couple pints of the Red #7, which is available year round and it is a quality red ale. I had the jaeger schnitzel for dinner which was quite good.... More

We stopped in at The Seven Barrel Brewery for lunch on our way back from Vermont. The food was excellent! He had the Reuben which he said was great. I had a Madras Chicken Sandwich, which had shredded chicken, curry, dried cranberries and a yogurt, cucumber, and dill sauce served in a grilled pita with fresh greens and scallions. It... More
