the best thing about being here is reading the humorous signs

Not Impressed with the food, prices or cleanliness of this restaurant. The seafood is the big draw. My husband liked his fried clam strips but my hamburger was at best okay. The picnic tables were greasy and I felt like I was at a cheap place even though our lunch cost $30!

Best fried clams around. Been there for decades. Good selection of lobster rolls, fried seafood and related items.

Big and tasty! Worth every penny. Onion rings are phenomenal as well! Tables could have been a little cleaner.

Then, the Tamarack is for you! The Tamarack's lobster rolls are every bit as good as what you'll find on the coast. A great lunch or dinner spot when visiting the lakes region.

Hands down, the best fried clams in the Lakes Region. I couldn't tell you what the other food tastes like because all I've had is the clam! My father in law had the tuna roll and said it was fantastic as well. I would highly recommend this little food stand to anybody who is a first time visitor to the... More

The lobster roll is filled with tons of sweet lobster. The dressing was perfect. Onion rings were awesome. We love the fact that it is owner operated. Friendly staff and prompt service. My partner and I will drive out of our way just to go back!

1/2 lb. Of lobster in the roll. No messing around here. Owner Jim is a super nice guy. We'll be back for sure. :-)

We have eaten here every Summer for many years and the food was great. However, last year, we noticed the food quality had dropped and the girls at the window were not friendly. I decided to give it one more try this year. The chowder didnt have clams in it! The clams were small and were very dark brown (dirty... More

A small group of us ate here after a big weekend and were disappointed. The dining room was filthy, the food average and the cost to high for what we got. As a kid we ate here twice a summer for years and raved about the place. Either it has lost its touch or being a seasonal place they had... More
