Late Lunch

We went for late lunch on a Sunday. No waiting and I thought the food ( lobster roll, french fry and onion ring) was good. Although my son got the BLlT and thought it was very fatty (he removed the fat) he liked how big and filling the sandwich was. Also thought the prices were high for a drive-in... read more

We brought our kids here one day this summer and we were so embarrassed. We raved to them about how good the food was...and when we got there they were out of so many food items. We ended up settling on what they did have and it was not good. The food that we did receive was super greasy and... More

Been here many ,many, times. It has never failed to please me.I ordered the juicy fried clams. OUT OF THIS WORLD. lightly battered, juicy and crunchy at the same time. Hello PERENNIAL FAVORITE, I AM BACK. good sized portions and the cole slaw i also very good. My wife had her favorite, scallops. She also enjoyed them. Considering that supermarkets... More

I was looking forward to a hot lobster roll (the menu states hot or cold). What I got was an ice cold scoop of lobster with drawn butter on the side. The roll was toasted but cold as well because of the cold lobster. To say I was disappointed is an under statement. My husband brought it back to the... More

We ate here twice. It is a convenient location and there is extra seating behind the restaurant (inside) which is convenient if it's raining. The food is above average for roadside and it's convenient.

Another annual stop. Gotta get the clam strips. It can be slow as you wait for your number to be called. There are picnic tables along side and out back and an indoor dining room out back with bathrooms and handicap ramp.

Very good food and prices. Ate here 40 years ago and the food was still excellent. Huge grilled chicken sandwich and husband got seafood that was a generous helping. Love this place!

When we have visited the Weirs Beach area, we have always made sure that at least one of our lunches is at the Tamarack. I can't speak for many of the items on the menu because I generally have the hot dog plate. The restaurant is a landmark in the area. If you opt to eat here, eat outside under... More

Tamarack was the place to go ........over 20 years ago. As a kid and young adult we loved going here. If the fact they don't use 100% lobster in their lobster rolls, or that you will taste the onion rings for days doesn't turn you away......then maybe the smell of the septic tank will. As others have posted its not... More

ManchVegas, we use %100 percent North Atlantic claw & Knuckle lobster in our lobster rolls. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your meal. I wish you had said something to us at the time so we could have made it up to you. More

Had the tamarack basket with fried clams and onion Rings, everything was fresh and delicious. The fried shrimp was awesome. Highly recommend.
