the best thing about being here is reading the humorous signs

Not Impressed with the food, prices or cleanliness of this restaurant. The seafood is the big draw. My husband liked his fried clam strips but my hamburger was at best okay. The picnic tables were greasy and I felt like I was at a cheap place even though our lunch cost $30!

We ate here twice. It is a convenient location and there is extra seating behind the restaurant (inside) which is convenient if it's raining. The food is above average for roadside and it's convenient.

Another annual stop. Gotta get the clam strips. It can be slow as you wait for your number to be called. There are picnic tables along side and out back and an indoor dining room out back with bathrooms and handicap ramp.

Very good food and prices. Ate here 40 years ago and the food was still excellent. Huge grilled chicken sandwich and husband got seafood that was a generous helping. Love this place!

When we have visited the Weirs Beach area, we have always made sure that at least one of our lunches is at the Tamarack. I can't speak for many of the items on the menu because I generally have the hot dog plate. The restaurant is a landmark in the area. If you opt to eat here, eat outside under... More

Tamarack was the place to go ........over 20 years ago. As a kid and young adult we loved going here. If the fact they don't use 100% lobster in their lobster rolls, or that you will taste the onion rings for days doesn't turn you away......then maybe the smell of the septic tank will. As others have posted its not... More

Best fried clams around. Been there for decades. Good selection of lobster rolls, fried seafood and related items.

Big and tasty! Worth every penny. Onion rings are phenomenal as well! Tables could have been a little cleaner.

Then, the Tamarack is for you! The Tamarack's lobster rolls are every bit as good as what you'll find on the coast. A great lunch or dinner spot when visiting the lakes region.
