Quite a few MYO sundae places have come and gone in this area, but Kellerhaus has survived the test of time. It's dependably clean and the gift shop is always showing something new (not just souvenirs...toys, candles, holiday items, lots of neat things!) But the homemade ice cream and sauces (fudge, caramel) really set the Kellerhaus above the rest. It's... More

This place is an institution in the Weirs Beach area and a must for ice cream! Big candy store and gift shop as well. Perfect end to a day on the lake.

We have been going to the Kellerhaus for years. I love the Make your own sundaes!! The ice cream is great, there aren't a ton of flavors, but you should be able to find something you like. The toppings are SO delicious. I love the strawberry, raspberry and pineapple the most. The candy toppings are also great. I LOVE that... More

Have been coming here for many years on our annual family get together at Lake Winnepesaukee. We had 28 of us this year and enjoyed the make your own ice cream sundaes. The kids were especially creative with their toppings. The staff are friendly and efficient keeping the place clean is a chore because there is a great turnover. The... More

The novelty of making your own ice cream sundae, is what makes this ice cream parlor unique. However, I have had better tasting ice cream, the fixings do cover up the not so creamy ice cream.I must say though, the gift shoppe is a must to browse around in, I really enjoyed shopping there.

First we went to Harts Turkey Farm for dinner, then we stopped here for ice cream. We enjoyed making our sundays and listening and watching the player piano, then wandered through the maze of gift shop. Everyone will find something interesting in the gift shops. While eating the ice cream I spotted a jigsaw puzzle that I had to get... More

This is a must visit each time we are in the area. Great ice cream followed by the unique gift shop and homemade candies. A nice break from the heat.

This institution has a sundae bar where you can go to town and create the wackiest dessert you can think of. The gift shop is fantastic and they make all of their iconic candy and chocolate in-house to ship around the world.

We heard a lot about this place - we were told to go because it was a landmark. Well, it was just average to me. It's ice cream that you scoop your toppings on to. The smallest size is $4.35/each. For a family of 4 it came to just under $20... and the ice cream wasn't out of this world.... More
