We enjoyed Kellerhaus ice cream this summer and thought it beat Common Man's Ice Cream in the center of Meredith on the lake. However in the fall, we tried a sundae and found that the hot fudge was lacking flavor and was "stringy". They need to improve this sauce and find covers for the buffet of toppings, syrups, etc. which... More

Fun for kids of all ages. Went here in 1971 as a 7 year old. Lots of good memories come back. The place doesn't change much and that is a good thing. Fun and tasty.

I was visiting friends in Laconia and she suggested that we go over to the "ice cream shop." We walked through the door and I was amazed at size of this store. Room after room of gifts and homemade goodies. What impressed me the most was how clean and neat the shelves and gifts were. In a store that large... More

You can not beat the home made waffle cones and waffle dishes. My one complaint was why the girl was only making 1 at a time causing a huge line. But once i got it the line was forgotten, 2 HUGE scoops and all the Sundae toppings i could put on.

We visited the "smorgasbord" and ordered two one scoop sundaes and a kids sundae. The total came to about $13, which is a pretty good value for ice cream joints in the Lakes Region. The ice cream and the toppings bar were very tasty. The attached store was very kitschy, I just couldn't see myself buying anything they offered. Would... More

Have not been to Kellerhaus in a few years so we decided to stop on this trip. We were not disappointed! The scoops of ice cream and toppings are still just as good as I remember from going there when I was younger!! The staff was friendly and even though there was a little bit of a line when we... Quite a few MYO sundae places have come and gone in this area, but Kellerhaus has survived the test of time. It's dependably clean and the gift shop is always showing something new (not just souvenirs...toys, candles, holiday items, lots of neat things!) But the homemade ice cream and sauces (fudge, caramel) really set the Kellerhaus above the rest. It's... More

This place is an institution in the Weirs Beach area and a must for ice cream! Big candy store and gift shop as well. Perfect end to a day on the lake.
