Nice patio area with good sunsets

Our first impression was that it looked like the famous Massachusetts places, too. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. We did ask that it be spicy and we were accommodated. I ordered Mongolian beef with onions and got Mongolian onions with beef -- reminded me of that old BK... read more

We ordered a variety of sushi to be delivered to the Fireside Inn over MLK weekend. Most of the fish was tuna, snapper and salmon. The restaurant admitted that there was not too much variety in the area for different types of fish. Some of the tuna pieces weren't completely thawed out so they tasted a little off. Nevertheless, the... More

Finding excellent Chinese food in the Lakes Region is difficult, but the China Bistro is one of the best. It is usually not crowded, especially in the off-season. The dishes that I've tried are good and portions are generous. The hot&sour soup is a bit sweet to my taste, but acceptable. The atmosphere is great if you are going to... More

WOW, no MSG! Great service and the beef teriyaki was the best we have ever tasted. The service was personal and fantastic. We felt like royals. We were not hurried and really appreciated the personal feel to this restaurant.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. The egg drop soup was the only edible thing I was served. The interior is comfortable and I Liked being able to watch the news from our table in the back, but that's where it ended. Beware when there are no others in a restaurant it usually means the licks know to stay away!.....

1st impression makes one feel like you are entering a temple, very impressive. I would have to agree with other reviewer that they were trying to hard to be upscale. We arrived early one evening & although there were several cars parked outside, my wife & I were the only ones in the dining room. By the time we left... More

Place reminded me of the famous Chinese places in Massachusetts like Kowloon and Weylus in the ambiance and charm. Beautiful woodwork and adornments about. But... the food wasn't that great. Even the crab rangoons that are touted all over the place about being rated the best in the country at some point in the past, were okay. I've gotten better... More

Ok chinese, not that wonderful. The service was however very very good. The best thing on the menu hands down was the crab rangoon.

Great dishes are number 3 garlic chicken, three cup chicken, chicken teriyaki on a stick. Their English isn't the greatest so make sure you are specific and clear as to what you want.
