A unique experience

This little place is a rare gem in this area. You could very easily drive right past it so it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. The atmosphere is very nice and you are immediately made to feel at home. It is a popular place so I would recommend reservations. There is a piano bar and a very... read more

I love this place. It is cozy and comfortable but with a flair of fine dining. THe food is superb. I go there with my nephew for GF options, which are abundant. HAd the Harvest salad last time - wonderful. If you want to try a different experience, check out T27!

Tavern 27 is our version of "Cheers". We eat there so often that we're treated like part of the family, which is common practice at this wonderful Tapas restaurant. Leslie and Ray - the owners of Tavern 27 are truly hands-on. Leslie, a gifted chef, designs and creates her unique salads and tapas in her kitchen. Ray runs the bar/restaurant... More

This place is different from any other place I've been to in the area with affordable tapas, great beer selection, and a very unique and rustic environment on the first floor of a large house. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. There is a small bar with seating for about 3-4, however I do not believe there is a... More

Do not judge this book by its cover. We stopped here with friends for a late lunch. The tapas were not the usual tapas. Gourmet, gourmet, gourmet. Definitely get the brussel sprouts and the haddock, but the duck confit rolls with asian sauce was my favorite. The owner was such a great host, and funny, too. Atmosphere; homey, eclectic, spotlessly... More

Let me begin by saying we arrived at this restaurant for an early dinner and the place was pretty empty. They had a group gathering that day so they had a part of the restaurant reserved, which was fine by us. We were promptly seated at a high round table close to the bar area. It seemed like a very... Been following this place on FB for quite a while now. The food and presentation always looks so fantastic. We finally decided to give something new and different a try. This is a tapas (small portions meant to share) place. We did not have a reservation and were seated promptly in the dining room. The wait staff was extremely pleasant,... More
