We ate here twice while stopping at Meredith. The tavern has a pleasant atmosphere and was very busy even though we visited on midweek evenings in October. The tapas available are varied and on the large size. My wife and I shared 4 and found this to be plenty, but leave room for the bread pudding which was excellent.

Tavern 27 is easy to drive by on the road from Laconia to Meredith. It's in a very old house with tons of atmosphere through unusual and interesting items all over the place. Since it's small and popular, I would recommend reservations. The food is served American Tapas style. That means the portions are a little larger than normal Tapas.... More

We had passed by Tavern 27 several times when they first opened and were dubious when we saw their sign advertising Tapas. It just didn't look like a place that would even know what Tapas were all about. After attending a neighborhood get together and discussing local restaurants, someone mentioned how good the food was at Tavern 27. So, we... More

Tavern 27 was on our route to southern New Hampshire and after reading reviews we decided on this location based on the reviews here. We were not disappointed. The host seated us in between the singer at the piano and the kitchen. Service fast and food was excellent. These tapas are generous portions - for fish lovers we can really... More

I didn't know what to expect for dining while traveling to New Hampshire. My bed and breakfast hosts recommended this gem. The people, from the staff to the customers were very welcoming. Food was amazing. Sunday is half price pizza. Definitely worth the full price. I hope I get to travel here again on business, I would definitely come back.

My fiancé and I were visiting Laconia and we decided to give Tavern 27 a try after reading all of the excellent reviews online. We are SO glad that we did. First of all, the ambience of the restaurant is amazing. It is set up in a renovated home. There is a piano set up in the foyer with seats... More

We have been here a few times and it is consistently delicious! We started with crocks of french onion soup which came out piping hot and fabulous. We ordered a scotch egg, steak roulade and a honey mustard, chicken, bacon sourdough pizza. My husband declared that whomever created the pizza was a genius and should be mayor, seriously he was... This restaurant has been in business for five years but we just tried it. It is very good. A nice relaxing pace, we were here for close to 2 hours. We tried a variety of food though no fish dishes as my dining partner does not eat fish. We shared everything but the onion soup. All of the food was... More
