Favorite Place in Town! We eat out here all the time and are never disappointed. Good beer selection and good service.

My wife and I had lunch here based on the very good reviews. We were not disappointed. The restaurant has an extensive, inventive Tapas menu. We started out with the Powerehouse Salad. It was very fresh and delicious and not overdone with dressing. Next we ordered the Jalepeno pepper poppers which were very light and full of flavor. Next came... More

My husband and I had wanted to try Tavern 27 for some time as I had heard great things about it. We finally had a night where we were free and they were open ( they are closed on Mondays) in December 2014. We arrived fairly early on a rainy, cold night and were greeted by the very pleasant bartender... More

After reading the reviews we were expecting a delicious dining experience, on the contrary. We arrived without a reservation at 6pm and were told that we couldn't be seated until 9pm. The restaurant was for the most part empty and remained so until we left at 8:30pm. We were able to sit at the uncomfortable bar, but we should have... More

We saw this place on our way into Laconia, and stopped by on our way back. Who knew that they would be one of the few places we've ever been to in the States that truly understand what the Spanish tapas tradition is all about. Small portions, finger food for the most part, and decent prices, not small portions with... More

This chef owned restaurant is worth seeking out. An intimate setting with a copper hammered bar, high top tables and relaxed seating. The food is focused on being organic and locally sourced. The variety of tapas food should please everyone. Uniquely presented and delicious food, you will not be disappointed. Reservations recommended.

My husband and I were in the mood for some chowder and salad, I saw reviews and pictures online and had to check it out. When driving to this place, I thought we must have missed it, it was dark outside and its located in a residential area. We arrived and sure enough its a old house turned into a... More

I attended a function here at The Tavern 27 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The restaurant has great history and atmosphere. Hand hewn beams in the room where our function occurred. The tapas were more than adequate in size and amounts served. Wonderful fresh ingredients and nice presentation. Our waitress was so friendly and personable - even remembered my name... More

My husband and I dined there this evening and were pleasantly surprised by the great staff and food. We started with Caesar Salad - plenty to share and delicious. Next came the fries and baked Haddock Bites - oh so good! Then we tried the Crab Cakes - I'm not a fan of crab cakes, but my husband loved them.... More
