My fiancé and I were visiting Laconia and we decided to give Tavern 27 a try after reading all of the excellent reviews online. We are SO glad that we did. First of all, the ambience of the restaurant is amazing. It is set up in a renovated home. There is a piano set up in the foyer with seats... More

We have been here a few times and it is consistently delicious! We started with crocks of french onion soup which came out piping hot and fabulous. We ordered a scotch egg, steak roulade and a honey mustard, chicken, bacon sourdough pizza. My husband declared that whomever created the pizza was a genius and should be mayor, seriously he was... This restaurant has been in business for five years but we just tried it. It is very good. A nice relaxing pace, we were here for close to 2 hours. We tried a variety of food though no fish dishes as my dining partner does not eat fish. We shared everything but the onion soup. All of the food was... More

Many people in the area have been saying to go to Tavern 27 so my girl friend and I decided to give it a try on a Saturday night. It was booked solid, but we were able to get 2 seats at the end of the bar. They weren't the roomiest seats, but we had a great time none the... More

Fabulous food with a twist. Tapas was excellent, host very friendly and a lovely mix of tasty dishes. Sizes just right to share. Mix and matched the dishes for a unique meal. Each dish was beautifully presented and well cooked. A relaxing meal with no sense of urgency but no big gaps in between the different tapas dishes. Perfect for... More

Unusual tapas but mostly very yummy. Great dining rooms. Great service. Some of the tapas were really good. Some were okay.

This place is great for a leisurely shared group meal. Be sure to make a reservation and check their Facebook page for drink specials and entertainment. We loved the duck confit rolls, Wicked trio poppers, calamari, tavern fries and chicken skewers. Our server was attentive but the constant up selling grew annoying. Best restaurant we have found in the Lakes... More

Another dinner at Tavern 27 with friends visiting from out of town. Never disappointed. They call it American style tapas. A large number of GF items on the menu and whether GF or not everything tastes great. Outstanding food and service, a full bar, their own house brand of purified water (free), good wine list and a very involved owner... More

Fun menu but could be the worst service that we have ever experienced. The Host was very cordial and mentioned a complimentary tapa (that did not come until we requested it later). It took over 30 minutes to get my beer that I ordered upon being seated. Our server came to our table to take our order and did not... More

I've been coming here with my husband and friends for about 2 years. It is so good! The haddock bites are the best. I really enjoy the tapas style, and the atmosphere. All the waitresses we've ever had have been nothing but great, and the owner, Ray, always stops by to say hi to us. Very nice people and I'm... More
