Good food with a nice view

We had a couple of meals here since we stayed at the inn next door. Our steaks were very good and cooked perfectly as ordered. The sides were very good too. We had also tried the burgers and they were tasty and cooked to order. Good wine list and very reasonably priced. For the quality of food that... read more

We stayed at the Lake Opechee Inn and after a long drive, decided to eat at their restaurant. Restaurant was fabulous. I had the seafood risotto and it was full of lobster, crab meat scallops and shrimp. My husband had the kobe and mushroom meatloaf and the serving was huge and he said it was fabulous. Ate on the deck... More

We actually ate here when we stayed on a New year's Eve package in 2013-2014. The food was very good and the waitstaff were awesome. We ended up chatting with the people at the next table as the tables were very close.Considering how busy it was for New Year's Eve we really enjoyed our meal. We plan to eat here... More

The lady manager on duty tonight, who refused to give out her full name, did not like to hear our complaint of poor service and delayed food. Having been a patron there several times I was shocked when she called police to have us removed. Very unprofessional, rude and a very poor example of how a manager should treat patrons.... More

We were staying in Tilton for a wedding & I asked a stranger at the Talbot's outlet for a seafood restaurant recommendation. She said, "I'd go to O's in Laconia"! My husband and I had stayed in Laconia for a night on our honeymoon almost 45 years ago so we thought a stroll down memory lane would be fun! The... More

We sat on the patio and the view at sunset was mesmerizing. For drinks we had a cosmo and my partner had the one with agave nectar. Mine was a tad too strong for my liking. We ordered the orange beef appetizer and the meatloaf entree. The waitress was very helpful in suggesting that this would be sufficient for the... More

Met high school friends for lunch and was a bit disappointed. Two of us enjoyed the turkey pie while another chose a hamburger. The hamburger was ordered medium rare but was served medium well. I would have thought better from the reviews I had read.He even had asked the waitress if they would serve it medium rare, and she had... More

What do you do to make Mac "n" Cheese better? Some would say, add truffle. At O's, they just add lobster. Big delicious chunks of lobster. Pared with a cold beer or a glass of Chardonnay while sitting out on the verandah on a beautiful evening, with friends and family, it's just pure bliss!

Food is one of my passions and I can always count on O's to satisfy that passion. Their steaks rival those of top name steakhouses anywhere. Their mac n' cheese is famous for good reason - add lobster to that and you'll get a taste of heaven. From apps to sides to desserts, there's nothing on the menu that will... More
