We were recommended this place. Lovely setting with outside seating. We found the food and drinks to be overpriced and that they were relying on this being an Irish pub to attract clients. I had macaroni cheese which I thought was a little bland but very nice although hardly any topping

The Guinness on tap is terrific...but the service for lunch is dismal. We were just about the only couple there but still waited 35 minutes for our beef stew to come and were late getting back to work. Haven't been back...

I have been here a few times and cannot think of one complaint! The staff is friendly, polite and attentive. Out of every restaurant I've been to, this is by far the best. Excellent food, cocktails and atmosphere. I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this restaurant. I highly recommend Waxy's if you're in the Keene, NH area.

Six of us went to Waxy O'Connors for lunch last Saturday. The service was horrible - we waited ten minutes for them to even acknowledge we were there, and once we ordered we waited 50 minutes for our sandwiches. The drinks arrived sooner - 30 minutes after we ordered them. The lunches were cold, burgers overcooked and chicken sandwich inedible.... More

My family and I ate there for the first time for a quick dinner on our way to the movies. the food was really good, and quick. I guess rebuilt from something in Ireland. It looked great.

Judging by other reviewers' reaction to this pub, we must have arrived on a good day. We heard about this pub and how the interior is built in Ireland and shipped over to the US for assembly, and the great selection of beers. So we journeyed to Keene for lunch one day and found Waxy's. It was after 1 pm... More

I have to be honest. I didn't know this was a chain restaurant till I sat down to write this review.. To sum it up drinks were top shelf and affordable .. Food was tasty and although a full house it was served fast and hot !! The staff are all 5star and the authentic Irish brogue on the gentleman... More

My sister and I came to waxy oconnors on a busy Friday night. We had a few drinks at the bar, which were very expensive by the way, and were shocked with how rude the bar staff was. They were constantly yelling, swearing and acting in an unprofessional manner. When I mentioned I had never seen a bartender slam and... More

This is the second time here, and the second time that we have been disappointed. Twice we have been for the breakfast, and has taken the best part a half hour to arrive. The coffee was tepid and the service colder still. The one redeeming feature was that the food was freshly cooked, even though we were not asked how... More

Waxy's is a combination restaurant/sports bar. They offer authentic Irish menu items which are very good. It is located in the same building as a hotel and provides a great opportunity for a good meal during your stay. Visited many times and never had a bad meal.
