It's a pub/restaurant, we arrived quite late by coach and were met by a hostess from the restaurant she was able to take reservations which was very useful. The restaurant is Irish themed as you can tell from the name, it's not a high end food experience but certainly tasty enough. The bar is quite lively.

Staying at the hotel that adjoins this pub & as we were tired we decided to eat next door. The waiting staff are very good & made us feel very welcome. The food is standard fare but there is plenty of it if it's quantity over quality you are looking for. The bar generated a loud & lively atmosphere but... More

Loved the Waxy chips and the beers. Great food all around. Great service, too. Lots of sports on TVs.

This restaurant was attached to our hotel, and we had a 99th birthday celebration there. The food we had for lunch at the party was very good, so we decided to have dinner there as well. We sat at the bar so that we could watch the game, and the service was very attentive and professional. This is a true... More

This is the go to gathering place for Keene's "Grown Ups". The food is consistent and the selection of beers is good. The wait staff is friendly and treated our family very well. Our three year old had a great time people watching and enjoyed the live music. If you are looking for a solid Irish Pub be sure to... More

We were staying at the Best Western where this restaurant is located and thought why not eat here. It was excellent. I had the Shepherd's pie (lamb and mashed potatoes), my husband had the haddock and my b-i-l had the Spiced Salmon. It did take a while but we enjoyed beer as we waited. And we all shared an awesome... More

Service was a bit slow for 3 PM, with little to no customers besides ourselves. Food was adequate, but nothing special. Beer was good. Place looks like it gets lively at night.

I have often been to Waxys both during the week and weekend, spring, summer, fall and winter. The bar area is heads above anybody in Keene. The food, not so much. The past few times, the burgers were always rare and chicken wings have been under cooked. However the servers are top notch and bartenders always are friendly. Prices IMHO... More

We have been here several times over the past months for late lunches. This last time they had a revised menu, the old favorites were still there but they have added new items. I had the large Caesar salad, still as good as ever, with the tasty blackened shrimp and the three Kobe sliders, cheddar and tangy ketchup, very good.... More

We were recommended this place. Lovely setting with outside seating. We found the food and drinks to be overpriced and that they were relying on this being an Irish pub to attract clients. I had macaroni cheese which I thought was a little bland but very nice although hardly any topping
