Just happened to be traveling from northern New Hampshire on secondary road due to heavy traffic on highways which we are want to do many times anyway. It's often a way to experience the serendipity of finding hidden treasures. The center of Keene seems to have a multitude of restaurants some of which were closed on the Sunday we passed... More

I go here whenever I am in Keene. It's right in Central Square, they have outdoor seating and the food is fantastic. I typically have the pancakes that "even Dr. Oz would approve" but lately I have been having the farmers omelet - OMG fantastic! They also have great breakfast sausage-very tasty! The staff is usually pretty prompt and the... More

This is a bit of a local hangout, that consistently surprises with food that seems to get better and better over the years. The fish was really fresh and well prepared. The service was fast and friendly. The prices are reasonable. My only quibble, would be I wished they had a better beer and wine selection to keep up with... More

Stage is a vibrant bistro like restaurant in Keene and offers a good menu with a lot of selection. Food quality is pretty decent. I had a salad nicoise that was underwhelming but that was the wrong thing to order in Keene. But their Reuben and burgers are good and my friend had a steak that he liked as well... More

I selected this restaurant after reviewing yelp and tripadvisor. I was looking for a nice place with a large menu that could make the whole group happy. We were not disappointed. Great variety and everything we had was really good. Very affordable restaurant for the quality. If you like brussel sprouts they are a must try here. Really good.

We expected better given the other tripadvisor reviews. Had Bistro Fusion Noodles and a Caesar Salad for dinner. The salad was fine, but the noodles were disappointing, little flavor and the vegetables were over cooked. We'll likely visit again since there are a finite number of restaurants in Keene and perhaps on a different night it may live up to... More

Very noisy, hard to hold conversation. Service very rushed, felt like server more interested in turning over tables then providing satisfying service. There are better "fine dining" choices in Keene--namely Luca's and Nicola's..

There might be other good restaurants in Keene but we keep coming back to The Stage, when ve visit Keene once or twice a year. The cuisine is clever, with a bias toward pasta. But usually with one or two fish entrees.

OK, it actually may have been a first. In all my years of dining (I've now officially reached AARP age), I don't recall ever asking a waitress to get the manager ... to compliment meal. The meals were among the best we've had anywhere. It has been 6 month since we've dined there and the meals still stand out: London... More

We really enjoyed Sunday brunch. They have outdoor tables as well. The waffles were delicious as were the oat grain pancakes and the granola with yogurt was scrumptious.
