Just found out they served breakfast!

What a unique and satisfying breakfast menu! The eggs were cooked to perfection (omelette and poached). I would have liked a salmon option to canadian bacon as a pescatarian or a veggie sasuage option but my dish was still great without meat. We both had more food than we could eat so if you're... read more

The giant mozzarella stuffed meatballs and pasta to die for. Grilled flank steak with herbed mashed potatos incredible. Excellent service and wine list makes this a "stop" while in Keene. Also very cozy bar.

Tried The Stage for the first time last night. We got a table for two immediately even though it was busy. Had a couple of their special martinis, which were both quite good. The calamari appetizer and pasta carbonara were wonderful; the pineapple upside-down cake was actually just pineapple and pound cake and not very impressive. The service was pretty... More

The title says it all. We had great fresh food, but all we ordered was a sandwich and a chicken caesar salad. It took a long time to get the food. We only got one small glass of water each during the meal (no refills). Restaurant was not overly busy at the time (a weeknight 7pm dinner).

First things first. I always read the reviews and I have to say that giving a 1 star review because they had a long wait when you didn't bother to eat there is a waste of my time. Having a wait is a sign of GOOD food, not bad. Everyone who read your review is dumber for having seen it.... More

We ate twice at Stage Restaurant during a week-long visit and enjoyed it both times. During the week it was fairly low-key, but Friday night was pretty loud, especially in the bar, where we were seated. It's a small place so it can feel cramped. They only take a certain number of reservations each night, and then it's a wait... More

Had 6:30 reservations on a Fri. nite and it was busy. With so many interesting menu items to pick from it took us forever to decide on what to order and our waitress was very patience and understanding. Two appetizers and four entrees (all great dishes) and great service made "The Stage" a place to come back too!!

We stopped in at The Stage on a Friday night for dinner and found it be delightful, as usual. We ate at the bar and were taken care of by Sue. She has bonded with many of the regulars and is so accommodating to visitors. Keene is fortunate to have so many nice restaurant options but The Stage is at... More

Showed up at 6pm on a Thursday afternoon looking for a table for 5 and was told that our wait would be THREE HOURS for a table. What!?! I know they only have 2 big tables up front and I understand being busy, but absolutely NO option of other seating arrangements were offered. We would've gladly squished or understood some... More
