Fine breakfast in the middle of nowhere except mountain views

Good food and plenty of it. Most people choose breakfast over lunch. It can be very busy, so plan accordingly.

Awesome food, especially whoopie pies. Great homecooked food & well-stocked gift shop. Pancakes are delicious, coffee is great prices are reasonable, & service is awesome. Very friendly. Too bad they aren't open for dinner.

2/28/15 Food is good, BUT: The hostess thinks she is the only person that can do anything. Some people had to wait 20-30 min. to be seated, yet there were 2-4 empty tables. The hostess rode herd on the wait staff (there were only 2), cashed out the store and restaurant, cleared tables (there was a very capable person to do this)... Stopped for a quick lunch & was pleasantly surprised! We both had chicken salad which was some of the best we have had! If passing in your travels definitely worth your patronage.

The best breakfast place, portions are great, prices are reasonable. We had a new waitress on that day we went in = she was great for her first day.

A little place on route 2 on the way to berlin...service was friendly and fast. Coffee was on the weak and tasteless side. Ham and cheese omelet was cooked properly and was very tasty. Prices are low and portions large here. Has a nice gift shop attached, too. Will definitely return!

A friend had mentioned this restaurant, so we went out of our way to visit it. If someone says that "it's near Santa's Village" don't take that too literally - it's quite a ways down the road! Our mistake. We were not disappointed however. We liked the comfortable old style of the tables with things to read at the table,... More

Because we enjoyed the food in 2013 we had to go back when we where in the area. They told us wait would be 45mins. 1.5 hrs later we were seated. I ordered an omelet. Omelet came and was huge and very good. Only ate half! Then I over heard the waitress taken the table behind us order and she... More

Met up with the parents here, moms favorite place. Great place for breakfast. My omelet was good and my dad's pancakes were huge and good. Place is small but good. We were there on a Friday during foliage season and got right in with not wait. Friendly and quick service. Nice little gift shop as well. Glad we went, will... More
