Great food on two for one night

We visited the Inn for dinner on Monday evening in the winter. That's their two for one entree night, and it's well worth the visit. The food is top notch.

We ate here twice in 3 days,we loved it so much. Great ,romantic atmosphere, the food is wonderful, and our waitress was tops. She not only really knew the offerings, she really knows her wines. We eat out a lot,and this Restaurant is definitely in the top 10% of all we've been to.

As expected the restaurant at Christmas Farm Inn had a holiday theme, although toned-down for February. The restaurant is comfortable, relaxing and has great food. We ate here twice, and both times enjoyed the food and service.

The mussels as an appetizer were a great start. I just went down hill from there. The salad's were "ok". I had a Pesto Pasta with Chicken and Sausage ... but it turned out there was more cream sauce then Pesto; I like to taste Pesto as "PESTO" not masked with heavy cream and butter; The meats were equally over... We were a bit nervous when we first arrived. It took a while for someone to seat us and then we couldn't get anyone's attention for something that needed to be cleaned from the table. Fortunately, that got sorted out and the rest of the evening went quite well with good service. Based on that initial experience and the country... More

Staying at a nearby hotel we came to this place for the dinner. It was a quite evening and there were only a few tables. But the food was worth it. The menu and wine were excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. A great place for a romantic evening meal.

We stayed in the log cabin which was comfortable and lovely. The food was good, but I don't believe it was on a par with what most people expect from our inns in New Hampshire. Also, there wasn't any place for us to stow our coats when we went to the dining room for dinner. But the nail in the... More
