Disappointing

We went on a Saturday night and had a 20 minute wait so we went to the bar. The hostess never activated our buzzer so our wait was much longer. The hostess apologized and told us that they were going to seat us right by the fire. Sounded cozy and it was a nice gesture, but the two of us... read more

Had the filet mignon for $25. Cooked perfectly and great flavor. Also had Maryland crab cakes as a starter. Came with 3 cakes. Great spices, very yummy. Sat in a booth way in the back by the roaring fireplace. Good atmosphere, service was speedy, too. I would go there again.

A large but pub-like restaurant. I think the average carnivore would give this a higher rating, but I want the vegetables to be good as well as the meat. My friend and I had a combination meal, though both of us had ribs, and those were terrific. Also the bread served before the meal was warm and tasty. My friend... More

The good is pretty good, but the best reason to go to the Red Fox is to watch sports with other fans. Service is pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere is typical sports bar, but comfortable for families too.

A cordial and knowledgeable wait staff as well as food cooked to perfection. Try the wood fired mussels and wood fired steak tip medium rare, they are delightful. Frank

I had the bourbon steak tips, which were pretty good. The tips were small, but the mash potatoes were flavorful and creamy. My husband got the lamb, and reported they were very good. Get the brownie sundae. Split it between at least 2 people. It is amazing. Great service, and food came out quickly.

We had a delicious meal at the Red Fox Bar and Grille. We ordered side salads with balsamic, a vegetarian pizza, and sides of red pepper and smoked gouda mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and roasted beets along with drinks. Our waiter was Scootin' Newton and he was top-notch. The atomosphere was sports bar with lots of TVs but it was... More

The Sunday brunch at the Red Fox is great. The cost is pretty reasonable at under 10 dollars, but coffee and juice do cost extra. The home-made Corned Beef Hash is fantastic. They have bacon, ham, sausages and biscuits with sausage gravy. They have great french-toast sticks and mini waffles. There are eggs and a fresh omelette station. There is... More

Wonderful atmosphere and no waiting even on a Saturday evening around 7:30pm! Their staff is very pleasant and the fireplace in the main dining room was very romantic.
