The food was adequate, but the service was lazy and poorly executed. It seemed as if the server didn't care if we were there or not.

we stopped for cocktails and it is a cute little spot and the drinks were large and very good, the barmaid was friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

The bartender was slow in taking our orders and even slower in filling the drinks, and we were the only one's there at the bar.

Plenty of parking, although in a snowstorm sometimes you can get stuck. Place is interesting and fun to be in.

Dinner reservation for Valentine's Dinner at Highfield's Tavern at Eagle Mountain House. While the restaurant didn't look particularly busy for a Valentine's Day, service was definitely lacking. Need to put more staff on for a holiday. Water never got refilled without asking numerous times. Menu for the night was an interesting looking "prix fixe". Food arrived to the table cold... More

We were hoping for a better experience after a morning of cross-country skiing at Jackson. Our waitress was pleasant enough and tried hard to accommodate a special request from my wife. However, I never got the cheese on my burger and her reuben was just not up to par. The hotel setting felt old and dated; the bill for nearly... More

My wife and I had dinner here recently and have been here a few times in the past. This is a beautiful big old hotel and eating here certainly brings one back 100 years in time. The restaurant features 2 for 1 pricing on weekdays which is hard to beat for the quality of food served. Although the night we... More

My tour group of 23 people enjoyed Sunday brunch at this location with its wraparound veranda and spectacular mountain views. Service was impeccable and the buffet was outstanding: delicious omelets made to order; waffles with maple butter; chicken breast with mushrooms, bacon; etc. There was also a dessert table with one of the best apple pies I've ever tasted. I... More
