Great Pub

This was my second time trying to get a seat at this restaurant. It was packed on both occasions. The kitchen closes relatively early for a Saturday night and it is normally packed so if you hope to get a seat don't go later in the evening. Overall I thought the food was pretty good and that it had... read more

We had dinner here after having read lots of good reviews, and at the additional recommendation from our hosts at the Carter Notch Inn. It didn't disappoint! My husband and I both cleaned our plates. He had a full rack of ribs and raved about the sauce. I had walnut crusted chicken that was tender and flavorful. The atmosphere was... More

Really good pub food and lively weekend entertainment in the most beautiful old (and I mean old) post and beam barn you could imagine.

This is a true mountain lodge pub. Everything inside is all wood (beams, floors, walls),ect. It lends to a very cozy feel. I have always enjoyed my food here. They have entertainment a few nights a week, which is usually one person up on stage singing acoustic style songs and playing guitar. Very laid back. Check their schedule for entertainment.

We visit when we are in Jackson for cross country skiing. The pub is in an old barn and has a nice rustic flavor. They have a good beer selection and the food is very good. Our favorite, however is the Whitney's Salad. We've been here a half dozen times over the years and that salad is our first choice... More

We had to wait a while for a seat but it was worth it. The food was great and the architecture was really cool. Cathedral ceiling and barn style was unique. Definitely recommend this place!

What a surprise. The building is outstanding, the music great, and the foods is very good. I had the Blackberry BBQ Ribs, outstanding .... unique flavor and meat falling from the bone. The Parmesan Crust Chicken was equally outstanding; the maple butter added the extra zest. The veg's were crisp with good flavor and the mash potato's were buttery, warm... More

This was our 3rd visit. Cozy decor, good food and decent service. However, when we were there last February, the middle floor for larger parties had no heat, well once again this floor was so cold that our large party all wore jackets throughout our dinner and couldn't wait to leave. The other patrons on this floor were all upset... More

Dined here last weekend with my family. Charming barn decor lit by white lights strung throughout restaurant. Had nachos, chicken wings, salad and a grilled turkey & Brie panini. All were great. Service was attentive, prices moderate to high-moderate. Definitely worth taking a ride to if you're staying in the North Conway area!
