Having been searching for good German food after a recent first trip to Munich, I found Bavaria Restaurant and saw good reviews so knew my wife and I had to give it a try. First, note that it's not open Monday or Tuesday (at least at time of this review). So if you're looking for an option on those days... More

The Bavaria Restaurant has the most wonderful food! The cream sauce with mushrooms over veal or pork and combined with the spaetzel is heaven! You can hear the cook pounding out the veal and pork in the kitchen. It is fresh and cooked to order. It is DELICIOUS! We have celebrated a few special occasions here. Love this place!

We lived over 10 years in Germany and a few in other places abroad, recently returning home. With family in Germany and Austria, we visit often still. The place is our home away from home. If you want typical German style food (Hausmannskost), this place serves it up! Having to gather the proper ingredients from sometimes distant locations (such as... More

It is on the expensive side of meals. However made from scratch and delicious. Started with the cucumber salad, cannot pin point all the ingredients but very yummy. I had a radlar to drink which was lemonade except they use lemon lime soda and beer together. For dinner I had the schnitzel that you could hear the cook pounding out... More

That place is horrible ... as if the service wasn't bad enough the food is worse. I've had better in a german hospital. It's ridiculously overpriced, the ingredients probably come from SYSCO, the attitude is a disgrace to german people :( Wie kann man ein Schni-po ruinieren???? apropos Deutsch - die sprechen da kein Wort :(

This was our first visit. My brother in law had found this restaurant online and we planned a Saturday evening for dinner with our wives. Found the food to be extremely authentic and very good. They had Spaten Octoberfest on tap and this just added to the ambience. THe waitress and staff were excellent and the owners checked on us... More

This was our first visit. We have heard and read good things about the authenticity of this Bavarian Restaurant. We were not disappointed. Fall is a great time to enjoy this food!

We have been here several times and it is always a treat! The food is hearty and well-prepared, the beer on tap genuine and the people surrounding us enjoying themselves.

Last year, I gave Bavaria 4 out of 5. Ambiance is a big part of the dining experience. The food there was still wonderful, and every person at our table loved what they ordered, but it was almost impossible to enjoy dining at Bavaria because it was sweltering hot there. I'm not talking about slightly warm. I'm talking mid-90's, both... More

We took our brother-in-law for his birthday. He is of Bavarian descent and has raved about this place. The outside is deceiving--once inside you have great atmosphere and are very well taken care of by the wait staff and owners. Our 11 year old amazed us by ordering the goulash soup and the schnitzel wiener art. "Best meal ever" was... More
