Authentic German food

The food was very good and so was the service. You would need to like rich food though, it is certainly not a light meal.

This was our first time visiting Bavaria and it was outstanding. We sampled some of the German beers (which were new to me) and enjoyed the food. We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the bartender. We'll be back.

Some of the dishes needed some more flavoring I found The sauerbraten needing a little more something it was dry as well we were the last reservation of the night so maybe that was why the red cabbage tasted home made a huge plus i do wish it had a little bit more of a tang but that's preference The... This is a must try for anyone in driving distance. Bavaria offers great authentic food and beer served from friendly staff. The atmosphere is warm and very European. This was the first time my girlfriend and I ordered only specials, and then the food was great to boot. From appetizer to dessert it was great. I would recommend calling ahead... More

Second time at Bavaria. The food is fabulous! From appetizer to dessert everything was great. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're in Europe. Service could have been better, but the food made up for it. The octoberfest beer on rap was equally satisfying. You will not be disappointed! Make sure you get a reservation, it is small inside.

We should have checked this place out a long time ago. The word they use to describe themselves is authentic. We found this to be very accurate. The restaurant is on the small side but it is immaculate with spotless, white linens and a subtle, attractive decor. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere in which patrons were able to enjoy intimate... Had wurst platters to save room for apple strudel. Authentic german food - although strudel was bit different without a crisp pastry crust. Enjoyed the quiet dining room where we could talk to plan the next day's adventures. Tricky to find after dark - entrance is on the backside and upstairs at the end of a newish retail strip and... A group of us went here October 11. This is my second time. I couldn't wait. Having lived in Germany for four years, this food brings back wonderful memories of a place we used to call The Schnitzel Factory. Great food. Great atmosphere. The people are so nice. Bring your appetite. I promise you won't leave hungry.

A friend and I were traveling through Hooksett and she found this restaurant. It's difficult to find; there's a very small sign pointing to the mall where it's located, and the restaurant is on the upper level and the entrance is in the back. It's a small restaurant with perhaps 20 tables; reservations are strongly suggested. There are many beer... More

My husband and I were in the area and wanted to try something new. We hopped on into Bavaria Restaurant for some hearty food to help usher in Fall. We arrived and were shown to a table right away. It was busy so we suspected the food would be good. It was great! For an appetizer we ordered a pretzel... More
