Second time at Bavaria. The food is fabulous! From appetizer to dessert everything was great. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're in Europe. Service could have been better, but the food made up for it. The octoberfest beer on rap was equally satisfying. You will not be disappointed! Make sure you get a reservation, it is small inside.

We should have checked this place out a long time ago. The word they use to describe themselves is authentic. We found this to be very accurate. The restaurant is on the small side but it is immaculate with spotless, white linens and a subtle, attractive decor. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere in which patrons were able to enjoy intimate... Had wurst platters to save room for apple strudel. Authentic german food - although strudel was bit different without a crisp pastry crust. Enjoyed the quiet dining room where we could talk to plan the next day's adventures. Tricky to find after dark - entrance is on the backside and upstairs at the end of a newish retail strip and... A group of us went here October 11. This is my second time. I couldn't wait. Having lived in Germany for four years, this food brings back wonderful memories of a place we used to call The Schnitzel Factory. Great food. Great atmosphere. The people are so nice. Bring your appetite. I promise you won't leave hungry.

A friend and I were traveling through Hooksett and she found this restaurant. It's difficult to find; there's a very small sign pointing to the mall where it's located, and the restaurant is on the upper level and the entrance is in the back. It's a small restaurant with perhaps 20 tables; reservations are strongly suggested. There are many beer... More

My husband and I were in the area and wanted to try something new. We hopped on into Bavaria Restaurant for some hearty food to help usher in Fall. We arrived and were shown to a table right away. It was busy so we suspected the food would be good. It was great! For an appetizer we ordered a pretzel... More

We live in Massachusetts and heard from our Euroguild (Walpole) purveyor of German food about a wonderful Bavarian Restaurant located in Hooksett, NH. We decided to take a Foliage tour up North and made plans to end up for dinner in Hooksett. As always I checked out Trip advisor and made dinner reservation as recommended. It was all around "a... The food is out of this world and straight from Germany. Monika has a great thing going and it's not much of a secret - so make your reservations so you don't miss out!

I loved the food here. It was every bit as good as I had at a guest house when I was in Germany. I had the Hofbrauten (spelling) which is a spicey meatloaf with a mushroom gravy w/spatzael on the side; excellent. For dessert I had the apple struedel which was every bit as good as what I had in... More

Our small adult family had heard about a German restaurant in Hooksett NH so we decided to give it a try. First off, not easy to find but well worth the adventure!! Second tip: make reservations, small and appears to be very popular locally. Wait staff very friendly and helpful. First had an off the menu app, cheese and potato... More
