I have stayed at The Squam Lake Inn in two different rooms, and have had dinner and lunch here multiple times. I love this place. Squam Lake is one of the top fisheries in the country and every time I visit I either eat or stay here. The food is prepared with amazing attention to detail. I think I like... More

The menu might not be big but the food is outstanding. The service is Great. The Staff go out of there way to make this place the top dining places in Holderness New Hampshire. Will be back for the Lobster Roll.

This is a more sophisticated restaurant than most in the area. The menu features the usual burgers and the unusual such as short ribs. Food was quite good although the salmon was cooked a little more than expected. Excellent wine and beer options and very friendly and helpful service.

Second time dining at Squam Lake Inn. We had reservations and were seated promptly on the enclosed porch where it was a nice enough evening to have the doors open to the patio. Very pleasant. Our amazingly peppy waiter was just the right amount of attentive and helpfulness. Service was very good. Husband and son enjoyed craft beers on tap.... More

There is somewhat of a shortage of good eating places in the Squam Lake area, but this is a really great choice. The food is well-prepared, fresh and flavorful. The ambiance is delightfully casual but has a certain refinement not always found in this area. Good wine list. Definitely a go-to place when you want to go out to eat... More

This restaurant was our favorite in the Squam Lake area. Be sure to get reservations as it is a popular place with the locals. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent. My favorite being the Lobstor Salad and the ice cream sandwich with ginger ice cream and molasses cookies! Wow! The atmosphere is country casual with... More

This is a great restaurant with wonderful food, great staff and amazing ice cream desserts! They offer specials but were all out on our last visit but we still found something to enjoy.

We have been vacationing for 20 years to the Lakes Region. This is the first time staying in the Holderness area. We found this restaurant through Trip Advisor and we are glad! The service was excellent - and the food was terrific. Prices are reasonable and a very lovely setting. I would recommend this gem.

We drove about 20 minutes from our hotel at nearby Lake Winnipesaukee to have dinner at this Inn. I was so glad we made the trip. The food and ambiance was superb - better than you would expect in any restaurant in this area. Our server wasn't so great, but it didn't take away from enjoying the evening at this... More
