There have been several owners to this spot. It sits at the entry to Pat's Peak. Unfortunately the place closed in 2013.
If you're looking for an excellent place to eat...go to Hillsborough and stop at TOOKY MILL PUB. (HAHA, I need more characters to post :) :) :) :) :) :) :) )
I drove by the place today and discovered that it's closed and site is available for sale or lease. (And I need to add a few characters to make the minimum.)
We are vacationing in the area and were looking forward to having dinner at Helling's Slope Side. We tried the link on tripadvisor for their website and it has been taken down. We tried calling and got no answer. We tried reaching them on Facebook and every time we asked if they were open, then took our comments off their... More
The food at Helling's Slopeside is excellent. We've been here at least a half dozen times and have never been disappointed. Colby Hill is probably better but that's more of a special occasion or romantic place, while Helling's is better for family and friends getting together. It's also a lot less expensive then the Inn. Helling's Pot roast is excellent, ask for extra gravy, it's a huge... More
Menu had a lot of options, service was good. Chowder was excellent. It was a nice spot to catch up with old friends. I would go back.
