I've been in this place couple of times and it has been equally great always , the attention is one of the best , always explaining and suggesting. Food is amazing , and very well presented. Decoration is very pretty with lot of wood details, it is elegant and discreet. This time we had live music next to us ,... More

The menu does not change very often and the food is just OK. Not much to get excited about however they do seem to have a good attendance so perhaps you will feel differently

We just ate at this restaurant in a large party and sat in the main area of the restaurant where we were treated to some exceptional live music. The atmosphere was convivial, the food great, the lighting low, all in all, a fab evening.

It's the kind of restaurant you hate to tell people about because then you might have to wait in line next time. We had the crepes and pasta, which were excellent. Also for dessert the apple pastry also excellent. There was live guitar music, kind of a folk style, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. Despite eating late the food... More

This was our first visit. It was a quiet Sunday night. They were not too busy, We had good food an a very friendly waiter.. There was also live music that night, and that is always nice to have. PLUS.the Red Sox game was on in the bar area on the big screen.

This menu had everything from Italian to Thai to American and more. So, if you have a group going out for dinner and you cannot decide where to go, go here. There will be dishes for everyone.

Business dinner with a colleague and we wanted a classic Ivy League town experience. Fun preppy atmosphere, of course across from J. Crew. Loved the canoe chandelier on the ceiling. Had a delicious heirloom beet salad followed by the shrimp mango curry - both were excellent. Server was attentive, though a bit difficult to understand. A very nice evening. Took... More

We experienced our first dinner at The Canoe Club last night (May 31). Food was very good, with the exception of mussels which were sent back without any difficulty; Prices were very reasonable; Environment was excellent! Server could have been a bit more friendly. We should have skipped desert! Apple Gallett resembled a toaster pastry with dried apples with a... More

My hubbie and I had a wonderful meal here recently. The light jazz guitar music in the background and the attentive service was touch notch. The manager cam and checked with us to make sure everything was good, etc. I would highly recommend trying them out on your next next out.
