Tandoori genuine

Chicken and fish tandoori genuine Punjabi and tasty. Rotis and other breads genuine items too. A full menu that is north Indian Delhi typical. Saag paneer (spinach & cheese) has become a stand-by, usually with raita and rotis. Some dishes really excellent, some average but overall very much worth... read more

We ate here super-bowl night. Needless to say the place was not busy. I have had a lot of Indian Food and this was very good. A great variety, an excellent soup. The service is a little spotty - I think some of the staff not all that comfortable in English. It was great value and I would definitely go... More

Buffets can be hit and miss and this one is a miss as far as taste is concerned. We had decided to go for the Sunday buffet as there had been a number of good reviews. Unfortunately this is about quantity and not quality. The food was bland and even the presentation of the buffet was lacking. Would not recommend... More

I came into the place after seeing a couple of the reviews so I did not expect much. I left with the highest regarda to this establishment. Just a list of a couple of the amazing qualities of this place: 1) food comes super quick 2) the food is excellent with a wide variety of choices 3) it is cheap... More

We always start with several appetizers. They're very good and amazingly reasonable in price. Vegetable or chicken pakoras and samosas. Be careful! The onion chutney is incredibly spicy! Mix a little of it into some tamarind sauce for a great combination. I highly recommend the chicken shahi korma.

Our entrees just arrived one hour after we sat down, and half an hour after our appetizers were served. Enough said.

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday night. The restaurant was not really full at 6:20 PM when we arrived. We were seated promptly and then we waited. The waitress wasn't necessarily prompt but she came and took our order. The kitchen was clearly busy as they were putting out a lot of take-out orders but for people who made the... More

Ate for the third or fourth time at Jewel of India. It is a decent option in Hanover, especially on a Friday night when the usual haunts (e.g. Molly's) is packed to the gills. We sat outside as it was a nice night - a very good choice. It's nice and relaxing out there. Food was fine - nothing outstanding... More

The door was open to a couple of weary travelers. Stepping inside my husband was told they were not open till 15 minutes. Because we wanted this type of food we waited. Husband had butter chicken. It was a very bland, over liquid, stingy with the chicken creation. My chili chicken was supposed to be medium hot. I opened it and... More
