Delicious food. Extraordinary Hot chocolate and happy staff. It gets pretty packed and can be hard to find a seat if you are staying, but a great little place to chill and enjoy

Stopped by twice for coffee, iced tea and pastries. Really fresh brewed coffees and teas; great choice of flavorings; and baked goods are top notch! Dirt Cowboy also offers sandwiches. Customer service is friendly and energetic.

When other restaurants for a full breakfast were too crowded with a long wait, we stopped here. The coffee, bagels and croissants were excellent. Plenty of tables at which to sit and wait for your order to be brought to you. Very clean.

I'm a gold card carrying starbucks customer, but every time I'm in Hanover I want Dirt Cowboy coffee - even with Sbux just a few blocks down. Dirt Cowboy's menu allows you to pick your roast, and it is brewed in a manual drip right in front of you. I have asked several times for a recommendation, and the staff... More

Starbucks is Ok but The Dirt Cowboy was better. The vibe is low key, friendly and personable. The pastry selection was awesome and the bagels were good! Great for a morning visit!

The Dirt Cowboy competes directly with Starbucks in Hanover. It seems to thrive because of its prime location and devoted local following. The loyalty of the locals is well founded. The service is friendly. The owner works hard. The food is good. The drinks are very nice. Prices are high but plenty of people seem happy to pay for the... More

After an overnight flight from San Diego to Boston and only one cup of mediocre Dunkin'Donuts coffee before the 2.5 hour drive to Hanover, I was in desperate need of coffee. Luckily, as we pulled into Hanover, there was a parking spot right across the street from Dirt Cowboy. We ordered the most delicious lattes, a cup,of drip coffee, a... More

Thank you so much for your review. As you probably know, the coffee is that good because we fresh brew each cup individually when ordered. More places are offering it now but when we started offering coffee this way (1993), I only heard of one place somewhere in the mid-west that was doing it too. It's costly and labor intensive,... Great little coffee shop. Wonderful coffee drinks, huge variety, great pastries. Some of the best coffee I've had anywhere. The Breve is the best.

In my opinion, they have the best coffee in town. You can't go wrong with a Brazil Santos or Costa Rican varietal. Their pastries are great too- better than Starbucks, I'd say. No problem with the service in all my years of coming here, though employee turnover seems to be quick. My one big criticism: from the sticky tables, exposed... More

No argument on your review. Great coffee, great staff, but we do need to throw more resources and focus in on keeping the place looking tidy at all times. As a regular customer, I know you know how busy we get. Unlike most restaurants we don't have the luxury of swinging doors hiding our dishwashing station from the public and... More
