Disappointed in the chilli

Stop here for lunch at 2 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Saw the trip advisor sign outside recommending the restaurant. Place was very busy and we had to wait a few minutes for a table. I had the beet salad which was very good. I also had a bowl of the chilli and was very disappointed. No flavor at... read more

John and I stopped in for lunch a couple of days ago and were so comfortable, we stayed twice as long as intended. Both of us loved the pub food and cold beer, the genuinely friendly service, and the casual atmosphere. Even the background music was great. I posted pictures of a burger, egg breakfast, and a side of Murphy's... More

My friends and I enjoyed meeting here to grab a quick bite and a beer. You can get enough to eat from the appetizer menu alone to make sure you are really full! But if you're in the mood for a full meal they have plenty of choices for that as well. The little bit of everything on the menu.

8 of us had dinner / food was OK only 1 person expressed "good meal" and that was for the burger. Food was Ok, not particularly hot but service was very good - cheerful and knowledgable server.

GREAT restaurant - awesome food. Food that's creative and high quality. I had the Grafton smoked cheese mac and cheese with honey glazed carrots. Large amount of food and very high quality. Other people in our party got a salad, which had romaine/spring mix greens - not iceberg lettuce. Very high quality and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant and... More

En route from North Conway NH to Stowe VT we stopped at Hanover for a walk around. We decided to have a quick bite to eat, so we went into Murphy's. Its plus points are the friendly atmosphere, good bar area and associated drinks and a varied menu.

Live out of town, but every time I'm here I stop. Staff is great and food is fresh. Never had a bad meal. And they love the New England Patriots! Good enough for me.

Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances, a reservation fell through today at another local establishment. One phone call to Murphy's and Liz has set up a group of 18 for dinner with one day's notice. Thank you Murphys and thank you Liz ... the food is going to be SOOO much better than what we'd prepared ourselves for!

Stopped in for lunch while shopping with friends and after reading the good reviews. Enjoyed the Crab Cake entree at the behest of one reviewer and it did not disappoint! (see Tim M's review for the juicy details). Lots of unique menu items. My friends' lunch was equally lovingly prepared. Lovely pub atmosphere without trying to hard. I find most... More

Stopped in for lunch on our fall foliage trip. Great spot right next to Dartmouth College. They don't have wi-fi to keep the students from spending hours studying and drinking beer. I'm sure they spend a lot of time here anyway. We split a Murph burger, baked beans, & fries. The burger was very raw so we sent it back... More
