Lou's packs 'em in on the weekends-- it's an institution in Hanover. That said, it's a diner and that's what you get-- which was just what we were looking for.

Why such a wonderful place has to feature music to commit suicide by, is beyond me. Seriously, Johnny Cash dirges alternating with James Taylor downers? The music the kitchen listens to is better. Great food, the specials are awesome; Sean is the best. The waitresses are top-notch and have a lot of personality. My suggestion is, let customers recommend music,... More

One of the best breakfast places around. The only downside is that it is small and gets crowded very easily. The locals don't like to give up their seats.

Their creullers as well as their baked goods are absolutely to die for. Ask for Ginny! She's the best and always has been :)

What can you say about a place that has been serving satisfied patrons for decades. The breakfasts are outstanding with friendly service. The pies are the best in the region. Burgers and salads are well done and generous. I hope it never closes, but does every day at 3.

Lou's has been a mainstay for decades in downtown Hanover. Such a friendly staff and such good food. Take home some baked goods, they are so fresh and tasty. If you're lucky, there won't be a line out the door.

Leo's lived up to the great reviews on Trip Advisor. The menu was extensive with many great choices. It was difficult to choose but our waitress was helpful. Our breakfast was delicious. The muffins were outstanding. We went midweek and found none of the lines many complained of.

Although everyone raves about this place, I have found it over priced and the food only average. The line is out the door on weekends, the eggs were greasy, the muffin only ok. Service was really slow. Surprisingly disappointing

As a 6 year Hanover resident, I owe Lou's a top rating of excellence for all of the great breakfast and lunch meals. Bring your appetite- the servings are huge and filling, the quality of the food and service is exactly- EXACTLY - what you want when you go to a local restaurant legend. The specials are always different and... More
