Wow! The food here is excellent and the portions are huge. Very large menu with all the typical breakfast and lunch fare plus some surprises as well. The breakfast cookie was yum and unusual. We have visited here twice in the past week as we stop in Hanover. We were lucky to have the same server both times. She was... More

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so when visit a new city i always find the best known breakfast spot in the city. Lou's is a must stop if visiting anywhere near Hanover. The portions are large, the food is excellent and the choicest are expansive. They serve the large plate sized pancake where one is plenty. Your... More

Everyone was here. It is friendly and has all the basic breakfast items. None for particularly innovative but execution was good.

Overall: Lou's is, along with Molly's, 'the' Hanover restaurant. If you are in town before 3, you "have to go" (in the words of the nostalgic). Lou's is certainly a fantastic spot to grab a bite to eat! My 4 star rating stems from the consistent food and the fun atmosphere - somehow it feels nicer than a regular old... More

Lou's breakfasts are big, as advertised -- seems like most customers left with take-out containers. Busy place -- try to visit at off-peak hours to avoid the line. Breakfast served all day. Bustling place with tables fairly close together. Lots of variety on the menu.

40 years ago my College memory of Lou's was fine diner food - but they have morphed and improved with the times! Along with traditional New England favorites, including real maple syrup, there is now surprisingly good Mexican flavors. Even at busy times (the day after graduation, no less they were cordial, with great service and real assistance for a... More

This seems as if it the town gathering place for eats with close quarters and everyone friendly and helpful. My waitress was informative and quick on service. I ended up well... More

Breakfast was awesome. I had the corn beef hash and a omelet. Yum yum. One of the best I have had. Loved every bite. Long line to get in. Wait. It's worth it. They also have gluten free bread. I have a gluten allergy so it was nice that I could have bread with my meal.

While visiting New Hampshire if you are near Hanover you must go to Lou's. The restaurant is always packed, and the food is great. I ordered one of their breakfasts which came with bacon, eggs, potatoes and pancakes. It was enough for 2 people and great to boot! Service was friendly and fast. I stopped at the bakery counter to... More
