Lou's has a great atmosphere and even better food. The breakfast was excellent -- good coffee and good service also.

We really liked the small town diner feel. It was really busy, so we grabbed a table right away because this is obviously a local hot spot for young and old. Tasty thick fresh burgers, hand cut fries, on site bakery, decent coffee, friendly staff. They even have kimchi. Good choice.

This was my second visit to this establishment and I was disappointed. I sat at the counter top with my mom and cousin. They each ordered a milkshake- one coffee and one vanilla. Both enjoyed their milkshakes. Our waitress was friendly. I was watching the staff handle food and drinks behind the counter as I waited for my lunch. Most... More

Had to wait in line, but it moved quickly. Got a look at what others were eating, and everything looked sooo good! I ordered corned beef hash, something I would never order, but this was fresh and made there, including roasting and drying the brisket, so I gave it a whirl. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the potatoes... More

My only reason for not giving it four stars is I was not really blown away. That said there were no bad experiences when my wife and I went here with our kids for a late lunch. Service was great. Although we had to line up it went quickly. The food is traditional diner fair for the most part. Everything... More

The best breakfast in town. The portions are very nice - even a bit too large - and nice and fresh. Take a pie home for dinner!

Lou's ... a fine slice of Hanover history also is a fine diner. Every meal is outstanding ... breakfast is the best! No wonder that, for years, folks who live anywhere near Hanover or visit Dartmouth say, "Meet me at Lou's."

We stopped for lunch and were quite impressed. The food was made from scratch with local ingredients and very tasty. I was even more surprised that they had gluten free options on their menu.

Wow! The food here is excellent and the portions are huge. Very large menu with all the typical breakfast and lunch fare plus some surprises as well. The breakfast cookie was yum and unusual. We have visited here twice in the past week as we stop in Hanover. We were lucky to have the same server both times. She was... More
