Lou's breakfast, perfect way to start the day

Show up early, Lou's will have a line for breakfast. Don't panic, it moves quickly. Everything we sampled was wonderful - the muffins, omelets, french toast, etc. Service was both friendly and efficient.

I've never had a breakfast I've never loved, from eggs and toast to omelets, pie, the milkshakes are to die for.

Wonderful corned beef hash. We did have to wait about 20 minutes on a sunday morning but it was well worth it. Everyone in our party loved their food. The old pictures on the walls and the tin ceiling are great. If they took names for a wait list it might be marginally better but why mess with what has... More

This notable and historic cafe is in the heart of downtown and essential for all sorts of breakfast fare, baked goods, and Belgian waffles. One of our favorite stops for morning eats, but get there early to avoid the lines. Love Lou's.

Great all around breakfast place with a short wait times during peak times. Our favorite was the cruller french toast which is something close to challah bread...but a little different :) Would definitely come again

Take a bite of Hanover history at this famous local eatery. We stopped in for breakfast and had a feast. Baked goods are fresh and tasty, even traditional egg favorites get a home-cooked touch. Getting hungry again as I write this....

Lou's cakes are amazingly delicious and perfect for parties. The Hanover Fudge and Red Velvet cakes are my favorite. The atmosphere here is lively, and the food is above average diner fare. I love eating here.

Regularly do brunch at Lou's during the summer season, and although it is always busy, the staff do a great job of getting you seated as soon as possible. Food is delicious, would recommend most of the menu! Definitely worth a visit!

So-so restaurant. Carry-out pie was fair only. I probably will not go back here. Look around at other options.

It's everything a diner should be, Great food and hot coffee. Perfect breakfast spot. Very accomodating - esp for those of us who eat gluten free.
