Best Breakfast in Hanover

You can never go wrong with Lou's. The only negative about this place is that there's never enough room for all the people that want to eat here! Located in the center of Hanover, Lou's is set up like a diner, with counter seating and tables. They bake just about anything you could want, and while... read more

Enjoyed breakfast here. Not busy when we went midweek. Did not eat any bakery items so I can't say how they were. I had a basic breakfast. The half grapefruit was nice with it. Many different choices. Pricey. Breakfast for two with tip was over $40. Guess you pay for reputation !

This small restaurant is right down the road. It is located on main street in Hanover NH. It has amazing food and honestly some of the best breakfast food I have had. The pastries and sweets are all homemade and are such good quality. This place has the old time diner feel, and it is a must see place if... More

This place has a massive menu, friendly staff, cute atmosphere. Not even a mile away from Dartmouth, and 8 minutes away from the Marriott we were staying at, this was a convenient stop on our way to Killington. I had the "Big Green" and my boyfriend had the BBQ breakfast tacos, both which were great. I had the cruller french... More

Be prepared to wait on the weekend but this place is worth it! I always have breakfast so I cannot speak to the lunch menu but the breakfast menu is extensive and fabulous! The employees are always pleasant! My daughter likes the crueller French toast - I find it too sweet but their homemade cruellers are to die for! I... More

Lou's is a Hanover staple with long lines but quick service. The fair is what you'd expect from a classic NE diner, but done well. I'd recommend the "Little Green" or the French Toast Crullers.

Nice old diner style feel with good wait staff and friendly service. We arrived early on the first snow day of the season and it was fairly empty although by the time we left it was crowded. Typical breakfast fare of muffins, eggs, pancakes/waffles. Food was good but nothing to rave about.

We had breakfast at Lou's and were happy we did. The service was good, the food was excellent, but I don't like being taken advantage of. We were offered our choice of the house syrup or maple syrup. Why not choose maple syrup. There is a reason we weren't aware that they charge $3.00 a bottle (1.7 oz to be... More

We had a very nice meal, and the kids had peppermint pancakes which they loved. The muffins that came with our eggs were very fresh. Even the toast was done well as it had a buttery texture. They are know for their tall apple pies which come in a cake box, and folks were coming in to collect their holiday... More

As Australians the diner is a typical American thing we wanted to try. Lou's has the food and atmosphere that you'd expect but also some more modern and healthier options so everyone is happy!
