Great Service

I often pick Salt Hill Pub for lunch when I come down on Saturdays for simulcasts at Hopkins Center. It opens for lunch at 11:30 like almost every other restaurant in Hanover, but unlike the others, the doors are not locked and they are always happy for you to come in early. The waitresses are very... read more

My girlfriend and I love this place. The burgers are great, the onion rings with mustard sauce is heavenly. They also serve a variety of ethnic Irish foods.

Parking was hard to find unless you know the area and on a pitch black evening we didn't find the restaurant tucked in next to a Talbots store without going around three times. That being said the food was good and plentiful. I had the bangers and mash and it was delicious and there was a lot to eat. The... More

This place is like a typical pub. They have good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Its located off of mainstreet which is nice. Overall it is a great place to go for lunch and dinner. Would highly recommend.

The food here is good, portions are larger than most. Service was hampered by too few servers for the crowd, may not be an issue on days other than Sunday. The restaurant is located within a few steps from a municipal parking ramp and is relatively new and nicely done.

Arrived at an off time-2:30 pm. Service was quick. Our server was friendly and helpful. Our drinks (non-alcoholic) were refilled without having to make a request. Our burgers and fries were amazing and more than I could consume. Husband managed to finish his. Very cozy feel. Would definitely return.

Bangers and mashed for the win, rich sausage offset by mustard for dipping next to mildly acidic smokey cabbage... Perfect balance there. Rustic smashed reds to finish filling you up.

Decent atmosphere. Would probably be better were it not for a holiday weekend with students out of town. Food was standard bar fare. Main complaint was that wife's order was incorrect. She ordered a daily "special" and it came out missing multiple ingredients. That reeks of carelessness which can be an indicator of much worse.

Food was outstanding and would recommend anything on the menu. They do have live music on certain nights, so if your bringing children I would suggest avoiding that time as the atmosphere gets a little lively.

Stopped in while visiting the college. Caught the pub at the start of happy hour. 3 to 5 pm. Half priced appatizers and 3.50 new england beers. The clam chowder was ok but the Guinness beef stew is excellent. The grilled Ruben was not grilled. Yet the Swiss cheese was melt perfectly and the sour krault was warm. So what... More
