Great menu

A wonderful, small restaurant in downtown Hampton. Half of restaurant is bar, other half is about 12 tables in dining room. There menu had so many selections that sounded delicious. I've been here several times and have sat at the bar or in the lounge. The food can be very good, and other times it's just average. Prices are a little steep. Service was slow a few times, even though there weren't many people in the restaurant. Portions are good. It's a hit-or-miss situation, at least when I've gone, but... More

Hagan's has a very pretty decor. The staff was very nice. I was very disappointed in my meal. The fish did not seem fresh, had no taste. He appeared to be previously frozen and just boiled. This will be my first and last experience.

Just enough of a menu to please everyone. Mussels for an appetizer...delicious...loved the broth....we both got the stuffed haddock and it was cooked perfectly. service was attentive and pleasant. small place so I'd definitely make a reservation . Not only will we return but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Had a very good meal last night at Hagan's. First time there for us, but not all. Waitress was amazing, very attentive and with a large group that is not easy. A lot of us had steak, which was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal. Will definitely be going back! P.s. One person ordered the short ribs and said they... More

We have lived here for close to 20 years and only went to Hagan's recently. I don't remember what we had but suffice it to say, when we were leaving, my husband said 'What was our waitress' name?' I said 'Why?' He said 'Because I liked it so much I want to make this OUR restaurant. The food is good.... More

Went here based on TA reviews. Mistake. Calamari app rubbery. Wife ordered special- haddock with shrimp, scallops and lobster. No lobster, no scallops, haddock dry, overcooked. I ordered steak Diane with shrimp with butternut squash risotto -medium rare. Steak was overdone beef stew, cook has no idea what risotto is, it was dry lump of rice. We ate very little.... More

Hagan's grill is a intimate little eatery in Hampton, New Hampshire's downtown center. On entering, you can either go right and opt for some night life at the bar and its surrounding tall tables with stools or you can go left into the dining room with its booths and separate tables for a more cozy feel with quiet conversation. The... More
