We have eaten at the Galley Hatch several times a year for the past 20 years, and have enjoyed it, but after today's lunch we will not go back. The Reuben sandwich was inedible, the meat was full of gristle and fat. My husband's Haddock sandwich was just o.k., and the potato salad had too much mayo. The menu no... More

The menu had a great variety of selections. I had the Fresh haddock filet pan fried and sesame crusted served over steamed mixed vegetables with vegetable dumplings and a sweet red pepper ginger soy sauce. The crust was delicious and my favorite part of the meal was the dumplings. I could have eaten them as just the meal itself!

There was ten of us for dinner and we were seated promptly. Two waitress took care of us which I think is unusual. They did a very good job of taking care of our needs. They agreed to give separate checks which again is unusual. My wife had the lamb burger and ordered it medium but it was well done.... More

I recently had dinner here with 3 friends. We were looking for an affordable, but nice sit down restaurant. We chose this restaurant for the variety of menu options including seafood. The restaurant was large so on a Saturday night we waited about 30 minutes at 7 pm for a table. There was a decent amount of table turnover due... More

Great iced coffee and one of the best blue berry muffins I have had. Everything is homemade and it shows. The women that work there could not have been nicer. I can't wait until next summer to try a scone.

We dine at this fine restaurant twice every August we come to visit Hampton Beach. Although the place has seen renovations, additions and more products we never see a decrease in food quality and service. We dined last night and we had Shrimp Cocktail and Clam Chowder. The shrimp are cooked to perfection (not always the case in every restaurant)... More

We had lunch here twice. Both times the food was excellent and we were able to sit for a very long time to talk and visit with our friends.

I've been here many times. Good for special occasions. The honey buffalo tenders are great. Nice decor in the restaurant. I would also recommend the seven layer bar. Can be a little overpriced depending on what you order, but overall a nice restaurant.

After church last Sunday, my wife declared, "let's go to the Galley Hatch and have coffee out on the deck", Despite the threat of rain I agreed. My wife had the quiche and I had the breakfast burrito coupled with a side order of hash browns that we shared. All was great until the downpour so we went inside. By... More
