My best friend & I had a lovely time - She had chicken parm & I had the alfredo. Friendly waitress and excellent meal.

We were trolling for a good place to stop for dinner during a trip back from Maine to Mass. in the Portsmouth/Hampton area. Fortunately, by chance, and with fair to good reviews on Trip Advisor, we selected Ron Jillians. This spot was obviously a good local hangout with a big, comfortable bar and an attractive menu. My spouse went for... More

We go to Ron Jillians on Sunday's and have come to be part of a routine of diners and football watchers. The bar staff is very friendly, attentive and organized. There was a time when the staff were more about socializing than serving, but this is a new staff with a focus on the customer The specials have become more... More

Please, management, bring back your original pasta sauce!! On this evening, my sauce had more water then thickness. It was lackluster in taste and an extreme let down for any Italian restaurant to serve. They offered a cream of broccoli soup that should be called milk of broccoli, taste was okay, but certainly not the best. Hopefully they can improve... More

This is favorite spot for locals. Their menu is primarily Italian but you will find some meat, some fish and pizza as well (though the pizza was not on the menu that was given to us at the table). If you show up for dinner here anytime after 6 PM, you will have to wait. They do offer call-ahead seating... More

We ordered the Mediterranean chicken and it was delicious and a very generous portion. The salad that was included was a pleasant surprise too. It was not the typical iceberg lettuce or bagged salad. It was a mix of nice greens, salad vegetables, and shaved cheese. The bread was warm and fresh and you could smell the yeast. The problem was... More

Do NOT come here if you are looking for a family dinner, or if you want less than a 40 minute wait. After arriving the spacey hostess told us, four adults and one baby with a Highchair, that it would be 2-3 minutes. Well SUPRISE we waited an hour with a starving baby. It wouldn't be so bad but they... More

The food and service are impeccable. The atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. The presence of the caring owners is evident. The staff is attentive and helpful with menu choices. The haddock dinner is amazing as is all the seafood I have tried especially the mussel appetizer. The Italian food is top notch and the portions are large. We always take home... More

We are locals and eat in or take out here about once per week. When the owner makes a special dish that is not on the menu, then comes out to say thank you for your business--that is remarkable. Best Bolognese and Fruiti Di Mare I have ever had, including my 2 trips to Italy. Friendly, locals bar, with excellent... More

I stopped in with my sister and sat at the bar. We had a great time. It was busy but we found the new location so much more comfortable. The staff is friendly and the drinks excellent. I had the Pork Chop Marsala. OMG! One of the best meals I've ever eaten.prices are reasonable and large portions mean lots of... More
