Great lobster

We enjoyed this place a lot. Nice place to sit outside in the good weather. Friendly staff and great food. We have also had take out from here. Will come back.

I was in Hampton on a Sunday afternoon and had eaten here a long time ago and it was good so I tried it again with my family. While the place has a nice atmosphere,we left disappointed. The service was slow. The waitress was not too attentive and my son, who orders very simple meals, did not like his meal.... More

Fantastic food, great drinks, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor bar. For quiet more intimate dining ask to be seated in the wine bar upstairs. For a more social time downstairs is great. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

You know where it is, you've been there before. But now it's called the "401 Tavern". Since the name change the inside's a bit different, the food's a bit better, the atmosphere a bit cozier, the beer a bit colder, the clientele a bit less stuffy and the overall experience a lot better!

This is supposed to be the freshest homemade slow roasted turkey dinner with all the fixxins, including homemade gravy in the town of Hampton, NH. When we called at 12:10 pm the waitress informed us that the turkey dinners would be ready at 12:30PM and would come with rolls and butter, homemade gravy, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, stuffing, and cranberry... Stopped by for a few drinks, burger and a game and simply no complaints. Burger was beautifully cooked as a medium rare and whilst the potato chips rather then fries were a little off putting, that is a minor issue as it does state what the burger is served with. Can't fault the burger, drinks, service and all in all,... More

All bread and no soup. My mom had seafood chowder, which they are suppose to be famous for. It was way to thick she said"it tasted like paste. The onion soup had no flavor no cream sherry. The onions had little flavor left in them. Just sat to long in the steam table. I instead on greyer cheese for onion... More

I had a great burger with fries. There is a good section of local beers. The portions are generous. My burger was juicy and delicious.

Excellent selection of top shelf alcohol.(they have Hendricks, and Uncle Val's gin, awesome!) This place has a real rustic appeal, and the wait staff was very friendly and quick as well. The food was not run of the mill pub food, it's better. Nothing deep fried like most places, the haddock sandwich was real baked haddock! I will come back to... More

This used to be The Widow Fletcher's and The 401 is a definite step up. The first floor features two bars with several TVs and each has an area with a few tables so you don't have to eat at the bar They tend to be loud.. The one towards the back of the building has an exit onto an... More
