Great atmosphere in an old building, with dining areas in what appear to be rooms within the original home. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious.

My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception dinner in the downstairs room since it was where they had their first date..after meeting hiking in the White Mountains..in the bank vault. Yes..apparently the building was a bank at one time and the safe is still there but equipped with table and chairs. The downstairs room is not typically used but... More

Since we discovered it over 12 years ago, we inevitably keep finding excuses to go back. Coming from a renowned food town loaded with European and Asian cuisine, Libby's has nothing to envy of its northern neighbor. Nothing pretentious, no flash, at the opposite end of glam, Libby's is a down-to-earth food oasis that offers freshness, locally grown goodness and... More

Libby's Bistro is one of the best restaurants we have ever had the pleasure of dining at. The owner/chef always greets up by name. The food is superb, ask anyone who has dined there.

You wouldn't think to find such a diverse restaurant in a small area like Gorham..but this place was great. They found a way to accommodate us even though we did not have a reservation and the staff was extremely friendly. I had the venison meatloaf panni with a corn chutney which took away any gamey taste and added just enough... More

My wife and I had a small gathering in Libby's this past August. After meeting there for our first dinner 4 years earlier, the food is still just as great as it tasted after a weekend of backpacking in the Whites. The food is awesome as Liz takes great care in the food she cooks and really cooks from the... More

The last thing we expected to find in Gorham is a world-class bistro. We found the cuisine and decor at Libby's delightful, comparable to some of the finest restaurants in New Orleans that we've enjoyed close to home. The breads and spreads are creative and extraordinary, from a bacon-flavored flatbread to a salty-crusted loaf to a blueberry butter spread. The... More

I had the Vietnamese Bowl and it was fantastic, everyone else dinner was fantastic also. Even though it was extremely crowded, our service was great. The bread tray of appetizers was incredible! Good beers, good mixed drinks.

My sister's rehearsal dinner was held in their private dining room downstairs. It's a pretty room, with private bathrooms and bar. Service was excellent and the food was good. I especially enjoyed the appetizers. They were able to accommodate my toddler's food allergies with 12 hours notice.
