My wife and I had a small gathering in Libby's this past August. After meeting there for our first dinner 4 years earlier, the food is still just as great as it tasted after a weekend of backpacking in the Whites. The food is awesome as Liz takes great care in the food she cooks and really cooks from the... More

The last thing we expected to find in Gorham is a world-class bistro. We found the cuisine and decor at Libby's delightful, comparable to some of the finest restaurants in New Orleans that we've enjoyed close to home. The breads and spreads are creative and extraordinary, from a bacon-flavored flatbread to a salty-crusted loaf to a blueberry butter spread. The... More

I had the Vietnamese Bowl and it was fantastic, everyone else dinner was fantastic also. Even though it was extremely crowded, our service was great. The bread tray of appetizers was incredible! Good beers, good mixed drinks.

My sister's rehearsal dinner was held in their private dining room downstairs. It's a pretty room, with private bathrooms and bar. Service was excellent and the food was good. I especially enjoyed the appetizers. They were able to accommodate my toddler's food allergies with 12 hours notice.

It's not often you luck into this kind of a culinary gem. Dinner was creative and ingredients were so fresh & vibrant! The mussels were incredibly flavorful, the pork my husband ate melted in his mouth, my pasta was a blend of incredible flavors and beautiful vegetables... not to mention dessert! In the mountains of New Hampshire waltzing into this... More

Menu was fresh and varied. Seafood chowder was very good. Mac & cheese had local bacon, ramps, and cheese. It was a strong, but interesting flavor.

We had dinner twice in this restaurant/bistro, at Libby's and at Saalt Pub owned by the same couple. The food was excellent in both places, plentiful and not very expensive. The owners stopped to talk to us, and very very friendly. Desserts were particularly yummy. We will definitely stop there next time we visit the White Mountains.

Driving over from Acadia on my honeymoon. Checked into hotel, little late heading out and most of town was quiet. The Saalt was open, packed and we had to wait for a table. No complaints as I had the New England Stormy and my wife had the Apple Cider Martini. Home run. So things are going great so far. We... More

I was surprised and pleased that everything I tried had distinctive flavors. I had the sausage/goat cheese appetizer and salmon entree. Both were very tasty and excellent. I've been hearing good things about Libby's Bistro for some time, and I would definitely recommend the restaurant. I'll be going back soon.
