We wanted something with local flavor for lunch after a morning of hiking and the WMC fit the bill. We had three great sandwiches, fresh and very tasty. None of us had any complaints. And the Stewart's blueberry soda was great! Highly recommended. We were there after the lunch rush and it still took awhile to get our sandwiches -... More

An adorable little coffee shop and bookstore combination serving sandwiches, paninis, and treats. It's not the cheapest place we've found for breakfast but it's quality with decent quantity. We ordered 2 bacon and egg sandwiches on jalopeno bagels with cream cheese, a nantucket nector, a large organic early Greg tea, and a small bag of chocolate coved espresso beans which... More

When travelling, I'm so happy to find a coffee shop that is unique to the area, but also serves the variety of coffee you'd find in a big city. White Mountain Café & Bookstore fits the bill and then some. They have great quiche and breakfast foods, as well as paninis, soups, and salads, and their chocolate chip cookies are... More

We had stopped to get a quick breakfast on our way out of town and enjoyed this quaint little place. Had a very fresh bagel and a yummy smoothie to hit the road!

I'm a coffee/espresso addict and love trying new coffee places when I travel. This place was the best of the 6 coffee places I went to during my week in New England. The latte I had was perfect, so great tasting and I like that it was not weak on the coffee taste. Too often lattes can taste weak but... More

Glad to find this place after camping the night before. We had actually been joking the night before that we should eat "green eggs and ham" and alas, this was one of their menu items. Note: the eggs aren't actually green, but there's pesto. Only thing was service was a bit on the slow side. They also have a cute... More

If you are going through Gorham NH stop here for coffee, the pastries looked good. People were enjoying breakfast and I am sure the sandwiches are fantastic. Free wifi. It is right next to the "golden arches" and why would anyone go there when this place is right next door. Good bookstore too with nice magazine selection!

It can often be a challenge to find a wholesome breakfast/lunch when traveling through small towns. We were glad to stumble upon the White Mountain Café on a recent camping trip. We were there in the odd time between breakfast and lunch. We ordered a breakfast wrap with egg whites, spinach and cheddar and a whole wheat wrap with assorted... More
