The Red Parka is a great place! Perfect for families with kids of any age, families without kids and the 20-something crowd! Family friendly without it being a Friendly's. The waitstaff is always warm and smiling, hostess is as well. We go for our 8 yr old son's birthday every year (per his request a few years ago after our... More

Always wanted to dine here and really enjoyed the dining room part. Poked my head into pub which was packed after the ski areas closed on the this long weekend. Tried the prime rib which was quite good. The vegetables where cooked perfect. Wait staff was attentive and polite. Restaurant filled up early on weekends so come early or expect... More

We have dinner at the RPP every time we visit North Conway. The food is always excellent, as is the service. They offer a complete menu and salad bar and always have several nightly specials. They also have a terrific bar, often with live entertainment. It's a great après ski place. Get there early!

Nice bar, great food. Lovely atmosphere! I got a chance to taste many local beers and got so many useful info about where to go and what to do in the area. That's a real stuff!

This was recommended to us but didn't live up to the billing. Food was OK but basic, the restaurant itself was dimly lit and looked dated. Service was indifferent. Things would have been better had it not been for the draft blowing through the restaurant throughout the whole meal - and we weren't the only people to notice it!

8 of us went to dinner during school vacation week, and had to wait about 45 minutes for a table. No complaints there at all. Great time in the lower bar area. But then came dinner. Food was average at best, not hot, and, unfortunately, the service was terrible. Waitress was a nice lady, but never cleared a plate until... More

Thank you for your comments. I do apologize for the quality of service that you experienced during your visit here. We take great pride in the service that our staff provides, but we definitely fell down with the training of your server. It would be helpful to know what food items you felt were average and not hot so that... More

A local institution and there is a reason way. This is a casual after ski pub. The food is good and filling and the service quick. Our waiter was great and it showed that he had been working at the Red Parka for 30 years. Quick service, accurate descriptions of the offerings, and fun light banter with the customers. In... More

We always enjoy stopping at the Red Parka whenever we visiting the area. The bar is always vibrant and the bartenders very attentive. The burgers and ribs are excellent as is the choice of craft draft beers. The popcorn and shelled peanuts add to the pubs atmosphere.

We were staying in North Conway and fancied a change from the restaurants and bars in town, so we drove out to Glen. I'm glad we did, as we visited the Red Parka - it was just what we were looking for - great drinks and food (steaks, ribs, etc.), cheerful staff and a wonderful atmosphere, We were there on... More

simple menu but we were all happy and there were 6 of us. Rustic. If you're looking for an upscale meal do not eat here.
