Excellent food, fair service, fair atmosphere

Wife and i hit the patio this evening. I had the large cheese stuffed ravioli and wife had the salad bar. Our app was the buffalo chicken wings. Largest wings I've ever seen and the hot brownie with vanilla ice cream! All stellar! Service was slow but i don't blame the kid since he had the... read more

We were shown to a table at the end of what we later realised was a railway carriage, it had zero atmosphere and ambience. The food was so so. I asked to substitute the vegetables with a salad to go with my steak but that wasn't possible. We were invited to go to the salad bar to get bread and... More

Was recommended to this restaurant by a local...........My only guess is they must have been a friend of the owner. Service was average, atmosphere was great (we sat downstairs in the bar area) food - in particular the steaks we ordered - were so tough as to be inedible. Will not be back

We love coming here! Opens 4pm for salad bar and dining. The steaks are very good quality, easily can hold their own up against Boston steak restaurants. The mud pie is the best dessert I've ever had.

Our family had dinner at the Red Parka Steakhouse before one child had to depart to travel home. I ordered the baked scallops, one of my favorite dishes here. The plate full of large, tender scallops comes covered with crushed Ritz crackers. The fresh vegetable tonight was corn on the cob. For potato selection, I chose a baked stuffed potato... More

Drinks were really good. Food only okay. It is a fun place to go, lots of old NH memorabilia. Kid friendly . too long of a wait for not great food though.

Just a comment on this incident for you and other readers. The gentleman in question had been told by the bartender inside that he couldn't have another drink due to being visibly intoxicated. He argued with him, but was allowed to go out and sit with his friends who then proceeded to pour a drink for him into a plastic... More

everything started out like a typical beer on a patio until the staff began harassing a guest. They claimed he was over served but he was just sitting a talking. All of a sudden the staff rolled up fascist style and made a big scene. I think it was small town tough guy syndrome but it ruined our night and... More

We ate dinner here per a recommendation from our hotel and we enjoyed our meal. The burgers were large, although a bit charred from the grill. The salad bar has the standard offerings, sides of green beans and French fries were fresh and tasty.

We hadn't been to The Red Parka for several years, and were glad to see that they still lived up to their reputation. Each member of my party enjoyed their food, and filled up on the delicious salad bar. Try to get there early on weekend nights, as it is a favorite among locals and visitors

The Red Parka Pub is a great place for dinner and a quick drink. In the bar area our family had great service and good food including the ravioli and the burgers. The salad bar was not worth paying extra for. Desserts were huge portions. Overall our family had a good experience.
