If you want to get a good feel of the local culture, go to the Red Parka. It is a great place for people of all ages. If you are a couple you will likely be seated in the train caboose for more privacy. That explains why my husband have always ended up there. We live 9 hours away from... More

Visited this past weekend. Great food, great drinks, great prices. We ordered everything from Prime Rib to Vegetarian and the only complaint was the pot roast gravy was a bit bland. Lots on the menu without being overwhelming. Nice salad bar. Good portion size on entrees. Very busy place so go early or after 7. Would even work for a... More

The wife and I went to Red Parka Pub while on vacation up in the White Mtns. of New Hampshire. This is the first time back for a meal here in over 30 years. Back in the late 70's this was a top place to eat with good food and great Apre' Ski during the winter. We were sat quickly... More

The steak was ok. The pulled pork was disappointing for my daughter. The prices are somewhat expensive. The service was good though.

We've gone to the Parka for years, and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The chili bacon dressing is the best ever, and their steaks are consistently great.

Try the pepper steak. It is not always on the menu, but they will prepare it for you. It is one of the best steak dinners I have ever had. We have been customers when in the area since the 1980's and they have never failed to please. Friends have agreed that the steaks are the best.

Hostess and wait staff were friendly, patient and accomodating to our large group of 9 on a saturday night, after our long day at Storyland. This is our 7th year enjoying dinner here as two families who meet up annually for the Storyland pilgrimage, and they never disappoint. Stick with their steaks and the lovely cocktails--we always leave happy. Popcorn... More
