The Only Place in Town for Supper.

The place was packed on a Friday night and there was not enough waitstaff. It took just about an hour for our pizza to arrive. Being that it is the only restaurant in town that is now open for dinner, we had little choice if we wanted to stay in town. The food wasn't bad and the waitress was... read more

There isn't much places to choose in this area. It's OK, definitely not fine dinning. We ordered 2 entrees: one steak and another shrimp pasta. The pasta was average and the steak was way too tough. Poor cut with lots of tendon. Also had to wait a long time (about 35 + min) for the food even though the restaurant... More

I love the crab cakes here, good food generally. It is always a pleasant visit here. Bar is a good place to view sports.

It was early evening on Saturday in late spring. Promptly seated, we were pleasantly served by the most efficient waitress I ever seen in action. Besides the excellence of this server's performance there is nothing about this restaurant that hints at the absolute delicious experience you are about to have. The menu offers a wide variety of temptingly described food... More

On vacation and after reading other traveler reviews decided to eat here. Fairly empty so sat right away and greeted immediately with drink orders. Friendly waitress gave us the daily specials and what was sold out. I ordered calamari and it was very fresh and delicious. I followed that with a bowl of cream of broccoli soup which hit the... We went out for dinner tonightvat the dutch treat in Franconia, New Hampshire. We arrived at 19.00 at the restaurant. It was verry busy ans we had to wait 15 minutes before we were noticed and given a table. We both orderd a salad. Everyone got served in the end, except us, also people that arrived later than us. A welcoming, spacious, casual diner/restaurant/sports bar offering really quite tasty food. Once through the door, turn right and you find an area with just tables and chairs for a quieter environment. To the left is a bar area with pool table, large wall mounted TV for sports action and more tables - good if you want a bit more noise.... More

have lived in the area for 4 years and have driven by Dutch Treat many times , but just thought it was a local dive that catered more to drinking then eating. Went for dinner , and even walking in and being seated I wasnt expecting to much for food quality. I ordered a nacho app which was good and... More

We were up here for a week and went to the closest restaurant in town. It didn't look like much from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised by the meal we had. The hostess, Diane, raved about the food so we decided to stay and have a meal. The wine list isn't big but they have the basics. My... More
