My husband and I were promptly greeted upon arriving at Epoch and were seated in one of their roomy booths. Almost wished that we had to wait so we could have enjoyed the beautiful bar area. Home from college, my mother and I decided to sample the local cuisine. We selected the Epoch Restaurant. Our unique experience started when we were greeted by the F&B Director Seth Dunne. After reviewing the menu we opted to "surf and turf" and selected the Sirloin Steak and Bronzed Sea Scallops. Could not have made a better choice! To start... More

My brother and I brought my parents to Epoch to celebrate their 53rd Anniversary. We were greeted promptly, and seated. The waitress was attentive and personable. We started with the Apple Harvest Salad, crab cakes and mussels, all delicious. For our entrée, my father, mother and I ordered the strip filet medium rare, which was done to perfection, which came... More

I ate here because the company said charge it to the room and they would pay for it. I had dinner and breakfast. Both were fabulous meals. Good service and food. Would highly recommend.

Traveling through on business made a stop at Epoch Restaurant in the Exeter Inn. I sat at the bar and watched as the bartender/mad-scientist concocted one of the most delicious martinis I've ever tasted. Seriously their drinks rival the libations at any of the swank tini bars in downtown Boston. I ate a spinach salad that was crisp, fresh, &... More

The dining experience was absolutely top-notch at Epoch Restaurant in Exeter. After being greeted warmly on this cold winter evening, the bar area was cosy and inviting. We were shown to our table promptly, and offered a choice of tables, even though the restaurant was lively and busy. The menu was extensive, and we were also offered specials. Our server was... More

My now husband and I use to live in Exeter and loved Epoch. Over the past year or so we've sadly noticed a decline in service and quality of food. On our last visit we made a reservation for our anniversary and asked specifically for a booth. The booths were all taken, so we decided a table would be OK.... More

Epoch at The Exeter Inn is a lovely, typical New England inn type restaurant. I picked it just for this reason. There has been significant attention given to the space and the bar is quite nice with a good array of top shelf liquor. Craft cocktails are absurdly expensive. The menu is uninspired and typical. I had a high end... More

Dear Philip H. We appreciate your thoughts on our value, beverage, and food. Our cocktails are probably one of the freshest options within the local area. We uses fresh herbs, spices, fruits and spend a lot time experimenting to create something that is not like anywhere else. We even grow our own herb garden in the summer for our cocktails... More

We've taken advantage of several 1/2-off deals lately and the price is right with the discount. Without it the price would have been hard to swallow. The burger is tremendous ($14). The lunch menu is limited (maybe nine things plus appetizers & salads) and the main selections are all similar. The beers on tap were pretty weird but my second... More

Lots of choices on the menu, great service, excellent brunch on a cold December Sunday. I'd gladly go again. I'm only giving four stars because brunch is not the best measure of a restaurant's capacities, but as far as my omelette went, it was pretty near perfectly done.

Dear Amy_Grace2014, Thank you! And yes, pretty much a perfect omelette! We have been continuously building and refining our brunch menu to be the best in the area.
