My wife and I decided to try Zampa because we have heard good things about it. The best thing I can think of is when I asked for extra olives in my Martini, I got five, Service from the kitchen was slow and the first item served was rubber calamari. Very good sauce, but it was so chewy, it was... More

Great pasta, salads, fish, chicken and more. The staff was patient, friendly and knowledgable. Food was modified as requested and the portions were generous but not silly. I'd definitely go back and recommend the place to friends.

Stopped by last night to get something else on the menu: steamed muscles—they are the best I have ever had from Mass to NH. But, Chef Brian told me the Catch of the Day—scallops—were very fresh and tasting fantastic. Mike fixed me up with a glass of wonderful Malbec that complimented my dinner very nicely. The scallops were seared perfectly... More

The food is excellent at Zampa. They always have duck on the menu and the preparation varies from night to night. The pommes frites are some of my favorites and come with a tasty dipping sauce. The breadsticks/dipping sauce they bring with your drinks are actually pretty good too! The prices are a bit high and it is small and... More

This was our first Zampa experience though we live nearby...not sure why we didn't try it sooner... When we were seated my wife and I both remarked that it was a lot like The Salvation Cafe in Newport RI...a long time favorite of ours...We ordered the Romaine Wedge Salad to share and it was both good and enough for two...My... Enjoyed our meal at this very eclectic restaurant. Very easy going atmosphere. Food is very good, especially for the area. With drinks...a little pricey.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is very good. Creative menu (i.e. not just the same old chicken, salmon and steak) with some local ingredients. Clearly the chef is talented at both cooking and food combinations. The decor is simple but if you are in this area and looking for something other than pizza... More

My girlfriend and i went to Zampas last night and were expecting good things. The restaurant wasn't busy and the hostess tried to seat us in the middle of the floor. I looked around and there empty tables all over , so i asked her if we could have a table in the corner, she seemed a little peturbed but... More

We have been attempting to get to this eatery for a long time. It’s kind of out of sight, out of mind for us. (It’s in Epping, NH which is in the middle of my commute). We had to make reservations as it was Friday night. It was worth the wait. My wife had the eggplant parmesan and I the... More

My wife and I treated a couple of friends to dinner at Zampa about 6 weeks ago and were disappointed. The food was not good and service was so-so. I didn't complain about it then, because I didn't want to embarrass our guests, but I wrote an email to the address noted on their web page and haven't heard anything... More
