We had driven by this several times and it looked good and we had looked forward to trying it. We were VERY disappointed. It's wasn't terribly busy and we got in quick enough. The waitress was nice but followed around by some middle aged man, perhaps the owner? He just seemed to get in the way and it was an... More

The 1st visit was problematic, the food too salty with under staffed kitchen and dining room. We, my wife and I, gave the location a 2nd chance. We were seated and finally had to ask the manager to have us acknowledged by the staff. That problem resolved, it appears the staff lacks leadership, as we observed there were too many... More

There must be recent changes because our experience did not live up to any of the reviews. Food was very mediocre and fairly expensive. Also, the menu has several errors. Ordered the nacho appetizer (because they only give the table a basket with about 10 chips with salsa), listed as $4.95 on the menu, only to learn that the nachos... More

1st visit was "ok" but companions food was cold so back it went. This visit I ordered the Enchiladas Mexicanos (chicken and cheese) with a substitution of verde sauce for $13.95. I also asked for black beans and rice. The rice arrived white and unseasoned. The beans were very undercooked and hard-bone dry. I sent the while plate back. No... More

My family and I decided on the Red Iguana having never been there before. Service was slow and the food was burnt or over salted. We're forgiving when it comes to restaraunts, but to have to send back 2 different meals (1 burnt, the other-wrong order) and then to have the owner (I assume) apologize for a third order and... We tried Red Iguana this past week and were delighted to find something that we will be visiting probably pretty frequently as we just bought a house not too far away. We sat on the deck and started with the house Margarita's and Con Queso dip. Our server was the bartender and he was excellent, very personable and checked in... More

Sat out on the deck, which was nice. Bus person was new but very personable. Bartender was our waiter, which concerned me but he was very attentive. Had one of the better Margaritas on the menu and it was very good. Really like their chips, salsa not as much. Food was not the best (Shortys is better) but for Mexican... More

We went for a late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday afternoon. When we arrived there were two other people dining - not a problem as it was 2:30 on a gorgeous Saturday summer afternoon, so I wouldn't expect a crowd. The place was clean, and service was courteous and fast enough. Our waiter was new, not afraid to ask questions,... More

since re-opening this restaurant has improved and is worth a visit. There is a nice patio terrace to have dinner on. The restaurant is clean and well managed.

Although not a large restaurant, we love this mexican place for the great home cooked food and good marguitas. The owner is here every time we go, and he is super nice and accommodating. My friend likes fresh jalapeños and Mario is happy to provide them for our table. Watch for the server who loads up his arm with multiple... More
