Big portions of super fresh fish cooked correctly is the recipe that Newicks uses. We've eaten at Newicks over many years, in several locations, and have never been disappointed. Usually its fried clams that draw us in (crumbs, not batter) but this trip also featured broiled Swordfish and a lobster roll, both excellent. Highly Recommended.

This is a VERY casual but fun restaurant (the wine "glasses" were clear plastic casual cups). The fried fish and seafood stews were absolutely outstanding. Service was friendly.

Brought the family here while visiting us and they were extremely pleased with Newick's. The seafood is fresh and their menu is extensive with a little of everything! Don't forget to try their fried cheesecake for dessert!!

When traveling to New England, a fellow passenger on our flight, told us of her favorite seafood restaurant. It was excellent and one we would have missed had it not been recommended. The building is huge and right on the water. It is a no-frills place---paper and plastic. Both the food and service were superb. We enjoyed delicious scallops and... More

I stopped here recently when home visiting my family. My server was very knowledgeable about which items on the menu (chowders) contained gluten without having to ask the kitchen. I appreciate that your staff is educated on allergies.

I visited this restaurant late on a Sunday afternoon. It was not very busy. Nonetheless, I found the service not very attentive, and the food, except for the claim chowder, was merely okay.

They have very good food and it is where the locals like to go. The portions are large and everything is fresh. Have a hard time finishing because there is so much.

Stopped here for lunch on way to our annual trip to Ogunquit. We arrived about noon but already all the window tables were full (and there must be twenty of them). Rest of tables are not bad but best views at window table, almost worth a wait. The food is still good and like most fried seafood places you get... More

Only had one dinner here and it was with a small party. First thing is that the window seats have a great view. The thin clam chowder was good, but the thick one was not. The seafood tacos were nothing special and served on large tortilla; made them overly bready. The steamers were a bit large but plentiful. I'd probably try... More
