Newicks isn't fancy but the food is good, portions generous without being grotesque, the service was friendly and the outside scenery is beautiful. The prices are reasonable.

I always have Lobster Stew. So yummy and big pieces of lobster can't go wrong. Their homemade potato chips are a great compliment dipped in the stew. We also enjoyed onion rings and sweet tea. Nice friendly staff.

We are originally from the area, and always visit Newick's when we are back 'home.' On this trip we found the food to be very good, and the service excellent. We actually split a 'combo' meal, which was plenty of food and was a very cost-wise option for lunch.

If you are looking for a 5 star eatery...keep going. If you don't mind a really good meal, with paper plates & plastic cutlery, welcome! The waitress helped us save a ton of money by "adding a lobster" for $10 to any meal over 10 bucks. My wife got a combo platter, I got the added on 1# lobster and... More

Good atmosphere for family dining. Food was good. I would have preferred a couple more "non-seafood" options. Menu is not flexible. For instance, I wanted onion rings instead of mashed potatoes-not allowed to switch. Had to add on onion rings for additional money. Plus when I pay that amount for food I expect it to be real dishware/silverware, not paper/plastic.

I Live in Arizona but I am from Massachusetts and Newicks has always been a place I stop when I'm in the area. It is a cozy place with paper plates and paper napkins but the food is really good. On our last day they were terribly disorganized. We were seated and they didn't even ask us what we wanted... More

Not as good as it used to be - very, very disappointed. A few years ago, you got an excellent meal - well worth waiting for! Now, you could get the same taste and quality at a drive-in diner! We will not waste our time or money going again to any location! Waitstaff are not the best - could use... More

Fabulous view, but I can't go too much further than that. The food is average. The lobster in the roll was OK, the roll itself, though toasted, was not buttered. Food service fries. There is a smell about the place that is not a pleasant "of the sea" smell.......a very thorough deep cleaning of the carpet needs to be done,... More

Newicks's is rightly a New Hampshire institution. Lots of seafood. Mostly fried. And for the menu items that are not seafood, it seems they're mosty fried too. The restaurant (referring to the Dover Point location) is very large and plain, which is part of the genre, but it has also become shabby. The suspended ceiling sags and is discolored. Too... More

We have been going to Newicks for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal here. This place is not fancy, and the meals are served on paper plates. Bottom line its one of the few consistent places that we have eaten at,
