Much bigger inside than you would expect. Don't expect nice, go for the food not the ambiance. Plastic table cloth, utensils and cups, paper plates, etc.. We got there early and were seated at a table by the windows. The food was good, portions were a good size. There was a wait by the time we left at 6:30.

Good seafood. Very large and busy but service was quick and efficient. Portions were generous. We started with chowder and it was average. My shrimp plate was very good. My friends seafood platter was very good. The Newick's chips were warm and crunchy.

Only had a few small items here. The famous lobster stew and some potato bacon cheese appetizer. Appetizer was fantastic. Lots of big lobster chunks in the lobster stew, but the cream and butter broth was missing something and taking the flavor out of the lobster. Skip the famous soup and buy the real lobster. Don't write this off, a... More

Stopped here because I had heard good things about the place. This was a mistake. It was one of the worst meals I had ever had. The lobster stew was the furthest thing from stew you could get. There were plenty of lobster pieces in it, but all it consisted of was lobster pieces in hot milk. No seasoning. The... More

As long as I can remember my family has enjoyed Newick's. I can't say that I've seen a lot of change over the years, but it's' hard to improve when it's already so good! Summer isn't Summer without a stop or two at Newick's!

Our family has been coming to Newick's since the '70's. Back then we drove more than an hour to enjoy fresh seafood and an unusual dining experience. We knew Newick's before the fire that destroyed the restaurant. It tells you something that the employees participated in its rebuilding. Last Friday's family gathering was fun and we once again enjoyed clams,... More

Been going here for years. Quick in and quick out restaurant that's good for a family. Service is excellent and the food is well cooked (the onion rings always seem a little dry to me though). Price is decent for the beachfront area and the portions are very filling!!

Huge restaurant overlooking a beautiful lake. Huge portions, great service, reasonable prices. This was recommended by a friend, and we went a little out of our way to try it & wasn't disappointed. Cute little gift shop on premises. Casual dining at its best!

Great views and great service combined with large portions make this one of my go to places when guests come to visit the seacoast of New Hampshire. Fried, baked or broiled something for everyone in the group. Baked take longer so go fried if you are in a hurry. Bring a cooler for the leftovers.

The seafood is so fresh and not over-fried. If you're looking for a family friendly place to binge eat on seafood, this is your place. A little expensive, but what seafood restaurant isn't? Ask for a window seat. ;) You'll be disappointed if you don't.
