Good place to see a football game on the hd projector upstairs. Love the brick and beam construction. Live music some nights, bluegrass thurs is sweet.

Poor quality food --- served an old salad that was very soggy. Waitress did not know the menu. The French fries were good. That is it.

I was hesitant to give Caras a try after reading prior reviews. I thought it was GREAT!!! The service was wonderful, efficient and friendly. It's a lovely building with quaint charm. I had the New England boiled dinner and it was the best I've ever had! So lean and yummy and was given a choice of mustards (yellow or brown,... More

What a wonderful building and the inside is nice. However.....I asked for a beer list...it was handwritten on scraps of paper stapled together (no kidding!). I ordered a Founder's Oatmeal Stout. Woops.....out of that one. OK, Lagunitas Hairy Eyeball then...NOPE...out of that too. OK...just water then, but can you bring us some rolls. Rolls??? Um....no, they don't do that. They... More

I was part of a group of fourteen that had reservations for 6:30 PM on December, 19 2013. I arrived at about 6:00 and we had a pint while waiting for others. The wait staff were very courteous and friendly and we were shown to our tables. When everyone showed up, we ordered. It was just after 6:30 and we... More

Well gave them another shot and was a nice improvement that as I understand took a bit longer than it should of. I had heard they improved their service and said you know what let's see for myself since I always say seeing is believing. Well I did see a great improvement in there service with friendly smiles which they... More

When we first started going their the food was good. They had a change in cooks and it shows. I've had two meals that were not good. I had beef stew it tasted like it came out of the can. Very bland. And the soda bread that came with it was stale. When the waitress asked if there was a... More

Three of us went to Cara's to start our unofficial appetizer and drink tour of Dover on a Saturday afternoon. We thought we would start north and walk all the way downtown. It was beautiful out so we asked to sit outside as I saw it was advertised on Facebook as being renovated. We sat outside and we were immediately... More

We heard the food was good so we decided to check it out Sunday. We were led to a table and given brunch menus which had a limited number of items, but enough that we each found something to try. We got our drinks right away. The waitress eventually came back to take our food order (sandwiches). We waited about... More
