I hadn't been to Moritomo in a while and recently picked up a couple of take-out lunches. Everything was fresh as always, well packed and delicious.

Lots of things to like here – private rooms, sushi bar, hibachi table and regular seating made it fun. The miso soup was okay. The best part was the sushi – lots of choices and everything tasted fresh. My son got a chicken and noodle dish, but there really wasn’t very much chicken at all. I thought the noodles were... More

This is Concord NH, not Tokyo or even New York. Given that context this is a very good Japanese restaurant. The hibachi experience is the same as it is everywhere with tasty food and nice theatrics. Great for families and friends. The other side of the restaurant where the more "Authentic" food resides is where this restaurant distinguishes itself. The... More

Always good, whether it's lunch or dinner. Did not disappoint this time either. Very nice staff and attentive. Could go lighter on the rice in the rolls, but still good.

I stopped here on a business trip. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. I sat at the sushi bar and had some edamame along with a small hot sake. After that I had a miso soup. Then the main course was, Ikura with quail eggs, Tobiko, white tuna shashimi, salmon shashimi. I also tried a new item... More

We came for dinner and sat at the hibachi. Nothing the chef cooked had any seasoning on it even though it was in the cart right next to him. He put no garlic, teriyaki or sake on anything and served us just grilled food cooked in butter... absolutely the worst 90 dollar tab I have ever had and we eat... More

This Japanese restaurant offers the usual range of Japanese food including some very good sushi. We mostly ate the sushi and maki. There were only three of us so we couldn't get one of the small closed rooms; this may be possible if the restaurant isn't very full; it was when we were there. Seating is very crowded and it... It's nice to find a good Japanese restaurant in a place like Concord. The menu has a lot of variety and the sushi is fresh and tasty although there is little beyond the "standard" (they do have some interesting rolls). The hibachi area, however, is all show and little substance. Avoid it. Service is pleasant, private areas are available. Prices... More
