Decent bagels

I'm pretty sure the bagels come in here frozen and then are proofed in their ovens. They're good... not great. Its a nice place to hang out. I love their eclectic bulletin board.

The staff here is top notch. The owner is almost always present and has high expectations of his cafe. The bagels are fresh and interesting. With exposed brick wall and local art, the atmosphere is terrific. It's a great place to go.

I recently "discovered" this place, and since then it has become my weekend tradition. Their bagels are delicious. Everything is locally sourced. I enjoy bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a cheese bagel. Their coffee is very good, too. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I enjoy theirs.

I visited The Works with a group of ladies from work. There were about 8 of us total and we ordered and were out within 15 minutes. The atmosphere was very nice, and clean. The staff were very friendly, efficient and showed great teamwork, which is essential in a fast paced environment. I ordered the Thai Chicken wrap and it... More

We enjoyed a Saturday brunch here, ordering items from the breakfast menu (served all day) the sandwich menu, and also some bagels with cream cheese. Everything was good and everything was fresh. The restaurant is clean and well kept, and the employees are friendly. Our favorite menu item was the Wholey Cow (beef and cheddar) sandwich. It was excellent toasted... More

I had a garden salad with lettuce. The site talks about freshness. The salad was premade and had lots of brown edged lettuce in it and had a small amount of salty chicken on it. Quick and easy lunch but not great. Dining area was a bit messy and tables needed wiping. I would give it a C.

My egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with spinach on a toasted Works bagel was delightful! The double latte was served hot and clearly was made with high quality coffee. Construction in downtown as part of the Revitalizing Concord project makes parking a big of a challenge but it's worth it to visit this high quality restaurant.

For about the same price as Dunkin' Donuts, you can get a breakfast that's actually good for you and coffee that'll knock your socks off. Both my daughter and I had the Western Wrap off the all day breakfast menu. The only thing I can say is I longed for a little salt and pepper in the eggs. It was... More

I got the Dagwood sandwich it was amazing the turkey was nicely cooked, the ham had a nice smoky flavor and the bacon was spot on, crispy and meaty the way i like it. They did not put on too much mayonnaise like some places do and they made our 6 sandwiches very fast. The food was a little bit... More

I tried this place after looking at reviews here on Trip Advisor. I was on a business trip and decided to try it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a salt bagel with olive cream cheese and a mocha latte with a single shot. Both items are very good! Nice and cozy seating inside as well. Seemed... More
