Was the food delicious? Of course. What does that matter when you pay $10 for something that was only $4 and they only give you a dollar back? I confronted the cashier and she looked me dead in the eye and said "Nope, that's your change" This was awhile ago, in my home town (where I would be more so... More

This place was so highly recommended on Trip Advisor we thought we'd stop in for coffee and a pastry (Saturday late morning). The selection had dwindled. The owner seemed a bit grumpy. We ordered a large hot chocolate, two chocolate croissants and a bottled water - 8 dollars (US). Tasty. Décor could use some updating. While we were eating there... More

Traditional baked good, fabulous breads, and charming service. Franz Andlinger (owner) is a local treasure who brings his Old World (Austria) skills, as well as warm-hearted congeniality, to the capital of the Granite State. The croissants are simply the best, buttery, flaky croissants anywhere, and his chocolate torts are out of this world; ausgezeichnet! This is one place that makes... More

This little bakery is right across the street from the Concord Food Co-op. After doing a bit of shopping at the co-op, I jumped across the street to see what they had, never having visited before. I'm so glad I did! They serve pastries, breads, and even luncheon sandwiches. Everything looked yummy, but I reigned in my sweet tooth and... More

We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon and took 2 chocolate cupcakes to-go they were AMAZING! Dense brownie/cupcake like outside with a chocolate cream filling. I don't know what they call it but it was terrific! I can't wait to try something else the next time we go to Concord.

If ever you are near here ... the chocolate croissants are delightful. Even worth a special trip ... you'll find yourself craving them ;) Very tasty luncheon sandwiches to grab and go as well. Enjoy!

We were expecting something different, but once inside, the offerings were enticing. Eclairs, chocolate moose, coffee cakes, meringues, lemon bars - yes we got all that to enjoy at our final destination the next couple days. All was Superb!

When in Concord, NH Bread & Chocolate is a must for a lunch stop. They offer a wide selection of standard and unique sandwiches. My favorite, hands down, is the Italian with fresh ingredients and absolutely the best bread one can experience. The sandwiches are large, so their unbelievable selection of deserts are something I need to bring home. Their... More

I would meet my husband for lunch here often. The sandwiches are on delicious bread (get there early if you want a specific sandwich-they go fast) and very generous. Of course we went here knowing we would get a dessert. Everything we have tried has been good. They also make cappuccinos to go with the wonderful pastries. On of our... More
