Vegan cafe in concord... I never knew was there. Had a " Rachel" and some French onion soup. Was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Vegan or not. So good I bought some of the seitan for home. Can't wait to try a cake

Tucked away in an industrial park, the Cafe Indigo is a fantastic hidden gem in Concord. It isn't fancy, and the servers are also covering the walk-in counter and phone orders, but the food is simply divine. The carrot cake is the best i have ever had. I serve it to my meat/milk/egg eating friends and they love it too.... More

Though tucked away in a non-descript low rise office park, don't be deceived by the modest location or mismatched tables and chairs, Café Indigo knows Vegan so well that anyone from vegans to vegetarians to omnivores can enjoy these vegan entrees and desserts. VegNews.Com rated Café Indigo's Carrot Cake the "Best Carrot Cake, Ever"! After a hard day's night (actually... More

One of the best. They have great desserts, the chocolate and carrot cakes are amazing. You have no idea that they are vegan. I have gone to brunch at least 10 times and each time it is great. I am going to keep it simple. YOU HAVE TO TRY, even if you are not vegan/vegetarian, you just have to try... More

Stopped in for breakfast on the way to Maine. Awesome service, great atmosphere, and a fantastic selection. The blueberry coffee cake was perfect. So sad I couldn't try more. They also have a whole freezer of pre-made dinners to take home and pop in the oven. If I had been on my way home instead of on my way to... More

I called in advance and ordered carrot cake, scones, and brownies. Everything was ready for us when we stopped on our way to our rental cottage. Because it was so hot, the glaze for the scones was put in little containers so we could add it just before serving. Very thoughtful! I was glad not to have a sticky mess... More

I fell hard for Café Indigo's lemon poppy seed and carrot cakes. Dense, moist, and decadent, a slice of one of these and a cup of hot tea could cure just about anything. I don't always indulge my sweet tooth on my visits. Sometimes my friend and I choose to be "good" and I select something from the unfrosted part... More

I've been here several times, and every time the food was wonderful. I have to stay gluten free, and this is one of the few places in the area that offers a host of gluten free options. Even better, it's all vegan. If you're craving a BLT, they make a vegan/gluten-free version that, while having more the texture of sliced... More

My daughter and I are vegetarians and I recently decided to go vegan so this place is one of the few places with lots of options on the menu. They're only open for lunch or Sunday brunch, but they have lots of choices for either. I LOVE their "peppersteak" sietan wrap. It's so hearty and delicious. My daughter's favorite is... More

When it comes to vegan options in the Concord area, Cafe Indigo is a great choice... at least for lunch (it's not open for dinner). But if you like a cafe with ambiance and timely service, this isn't the place. The cafe is located in a business strip mall, so prepare yourself for an industrial atmosphere. Once you get oriented...
