For the last eight years, my wife and I sought out reasons to drive through NH in order to have a reason to stopping at a Common Man restaurant. We've had many pleasurable meals and enjoyed staying at the Inn in Plymouth. Unfortunately, our latest visit was a huge disappointment. It was MLK Day and we stopped in for lunch... More

I took my family for a nice weekend lunch. I have been to the one at Plymouth and remember enjoying their food, so I thought I would try the one at Concord. The building is very cute, old building converted to a restaurant, with a nice food burning fire place. The waitress was very friendly, but the food took longer... More

Stopped by Common Man for Lunch while visiting our son. Very comfortable enviroment with a good selection of beers and a good lunch menu. They had a unlimilted cheese, crackers and dip bar that you could help yourself to while waiting for you meal. Lots of hand lettered signs to add to the common man motif. Would definitely go there... I've traveled around New Hampshire a bit --I even lived there for 3 years! --and I've dined at many of the Common Man restaurants. While they all are fine places, each with its own unique character and food, the C-Man in Concord stands out from its siblings in both atmosphere and food. The Common Man in Concord pays homage to... Used to love eating here but recently each visit has been more disappointing than the prior. They used to have the best "Lobster Corn Chowder", tasted homemade with plenty of lobster, now it's very apparent they are using canned potatoes and only 1 piece of lobster, unfortunately. Table cloths used to be nice too, now just a sheet of paper.... More

Had a business meeting here at Christmas time. There was a 45 minute wait at 1pm for lunch! but the bar has no waiting and full menu. We had an enjoyable lunch, it's was a productive meeting and other then the background music being a tad loud for folks with hearing issues it was a very nice place to meet.... More

We literally just finished our lunch here. It is very good, comfort style food. My two other dining companions enjoyed their meals as much as I did. Two of us ordered Baked French Onion Soup, and the other diner ordered a sausage soup that was a special. Both soups were quite good. Between the 3 of us we also ordered... More

We had not eaten at the Common Man for several years. Three of us went for lunch and had a spectacular meal! I had the chicken salad with sweet potato fries-yum. The service was excellent as well including a brief visit by the manager.
