Came here on recommendation from our hotel. When we saw the packed parking lot we thought we would be in for a looong wait but no. We were ushered upstairs & straight to a table. Our server Catherine, was very pleasant & explained everything. They have cheese & crackers available all the time you are there & very good they... More

First time in NH and obviously at the Common Man. The staff was very helpful and gracious. Always checking up on me to make sure I didn't need anything but not making me feel rushed. I ordered the lobster roll with the sweet potato fries. Both were very tasty. The lobster roll was the right balance of lobster and mayonnaise.

Everything here was outstanding. I had the pot roast and the wife salmon. The pot roast just melted in your mouth and could be cut with a fork. The salmon was excellent also. The service was the best. I just can't say enough about this place. I hear it's a small New England chain and I wish we had this... More

The Common Man Restaurants are excellent. We've been to them in Concord, Ashland, Manchester and Meredith, NH. The menu is very inviting. Our meal in Concord, as usual was excellent. We were there with two granddaughters - service catered very well to the family and the food was fine as we expected.

DH and I have been to The Common Man many times over the years. We found ourselves with a rare opportunity to have dinner out just the two of us and decided to go. It had been about six months since the last time we were there. We had to pick up our daughter at 8 p.m. so we decided... More

We had been here before on a previous visit to the USA and thought that we would make a return visit. There are better places to eat in Concord now, try the Barley House which is very good. We arrived at 5:15 which was fairly quiet to start with although the upstairs bar was busy. We were shown a table... More

Overall we like this restaurant. Husband got the lunch special of Open Face Meatloaf. The meatloaf was inedible! It was a mush like a sloppy joe, not a slice of meatloaf. Flavor was not good. I ordered the Flatbread with chard. I don't know where the chard was, but it was not present. Maybe an off day for the Common... More

We were staying in a Best Western motel in Concord close by and wanted a good meal after flying in to Manchester. The motel desk clerk recommended The Common Man. We sat at the bar and had the same meal that would be served at a table. The flat bread was excellent and so was our main meal. A good... More

A bunch of us stayed at the Fairfield Inn next door so we went to Commom Man every night. On Tues., they had a 50% off on all wine bottles so I took advantage of this super deal! It's packed there on Tuesdays. The food was not consistent every night but mostly good. I tried their signature pot roast, but... More

Even though my food did not turn out to be anything spectacular, the service was great. I had Escargot but they were cold, the first time and the second time. They did not charge me and offer me lobster soup, which was fine.
