The food and drinks were excellent. Steaks were done to perfection. Specialty drinks were great. There is something for everyone, and I had two very picky eaters with us. Everyone was pleased. Our waiter was very attentive and polite. We had a 20 min wait for a table they text you when your table is ready giving us the chance... More

The Hummus was surprisingly good! Tasty bread sticks too. They do something different but I cannot remember what it is. Beer selection was very good and they describe the beers pretty well. Really good fish& chips. Nice meal. My only beef is I seriously doubt that beer was 16 ounces but this is an issue at a number of establishments.... More

We love the Barley House! Casual, comfortable, with (usually) delicious food and excellent beer. (Normally we're more into wine, but the beers are so good it would be a shame to forego them.) The bread sticks and hummus arrive soon after you sit down - nice touch. Hummus is a bit chunky, but good. The brick chicken is our favorite... More

We have been long time fans of the BH. They offer great specials, and long term favs (like their Dublin Burger which is the BEST ever).

Four of us enjoyed dinner on a busy Friday night, reservations in advance with cell phone notice when our table was set. Very attentive and professional staff gave service at every turn, orders for Curry Fried Haddock, Chicken Pot Pie, and Pork Roast all savored and enjoyed with sharing of flavors and bits from each entree. Nothing I saw would... More

I visited this area during Market days and actually stopped by this restaurant twice during the two days I was there. Fast and friendly service both times. When you arrive you are given a serving of hummus with a few pretzels and breadsticks with your drinks. As an appetizer we ordered the Brussell sprouts - that were unique and delicious.... More

I stopes here for lunch with my friend during the overcrowded concord market festival. It was relaxing and everyone we met was great from the hostess to the hunk of a waiter we had (I think his name was Ian?). The hummus and pretzels were amazing and the chicken sandwich I got was even better. So much food I only... More

Visited The Barley House with the intention of having dinner, but after being served with my first drink I had to wait for over 20 minutes to be served again, even though I was sitting at the bar. Locals came in during this time and we're served but I was ignored. Ended up leaving and having dinner elsewhere.

I had dinner here with my husband and two other couples a few weekends ago. Most of us ordered burgers. I had a basic burger with lettuce, tomato and blue cheese. I ordered it medium rare and it was done perfectly. The potato salad for my side was also really good. My husband ordered the Korean BBQ burger with a... More
