We stopped in for a late lunch to a nearly empty restaurant, once sat we ordered drinks and were served complimentary humus with bread sticks and pretzel rods, we should have stopped there! 4th humus was great, tasty and fresh and the pretzel rods and crisp bread sticks complimented the dish. Decent selection of local brews on tap was a... More

My husband and I stopped in for lunch after visiting the state building. One waitress sat us and brought our beers and hummus. She then told us her shift was ending and Mary would be helping us. We sat for a good 20 minutes with finished hummus and beers before Mary acknowledged us. There were no more than three other... More

The Barley House is the best restaurant for lunch on Main Street. I absolutely love their apple pumpkin soup, and order it nearly every time I eat there. Also, the salads are fantastic, can't go wrong with any of them! Overall, the excellent food, great service and friendly wait staff all make lunch at the Barley House a wonderful experience.

Good food, gluten free options, good beer, good atmosphere! Can either have a quiet dinner in the dining room or enjoy the company at the bar. Don't forget trivia Wednesdays!

Our family likes the Barley House. The food is pretty decent. We like the hummus appetizer served with pretzel sticks that comes with every meal. Our favorite time to go is during burger fest week. Its a fundraiser for CHAD and local businesses sponsor various, unique burgers.

I absolutely loved this place! I was visiting from Rhode Island with my mother and it was a great spot to grab a bite. The place is rustic and cool looking, including the music and how they plate and serve their meals. Speaking of music, I appreciated how all the tracks played were of great quality and not too loud... More

My husband and I took a weekend trip to stay at a B & B in Hopkinton (another place we recommend called the Old Story Farm Bed & Breakfast Inn) and decided to visit nearby Concord to walk about. We stopped in at the Barley House which had a trendy lunch menu with a tavern/pub-like atmosphere. We enjoyed one of... More

The Barley House services some of the best food, beer at a great price. Staff is friendly and very helpful. If you planning on stopping by Tuesday is night to catch some old school Irish music.
