A Capital Meal . . .

Excellent Restaurant! My wife and I were in Concord on business. We ate here the first night and it was so good we went back the second night. For starters, great beer: they had 10 micros on draft, along with Bud Light. In bottles they had 17 micros and five junk beers.. I enjoyed the Smuttynose... read more

It would be shameful to ignore this place if you are in the area. You would deprive yourself of a wonderful New England Irish pub experience. The fact that we've dinned there 6 or 7 times so far says it all. We love the place and it has become an imperative whenever we travel to New Hampshire. Dinner with friends... More

We habitually use Trip Advisor to find places eat and things to do and it did not let us down with this one. The Barley House was rated #3 and it deserves it, great food, excellent beer, knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere. I had the fish and chips which had a hint of curry in the batter but I probably... More

Not sure how this place could suffer from a bad review based on my recent experience. My adult daughter and I enjoyed a spectacularly good lunch on Monday. Warm greeting at the door, a good booth, a dialed-in waiter who was friendly and efficient, and terrific food. It was a simple meal. We had ice tea, my daughter had the... More

Went there to meet with a client after work. The place was extremely busy for a weekday. It's looks small from the outside, until you walk in. Nice selection of beer at the bar. Menu had some nice options on it for a fair price. I recommend the "Dublin Burger". Hostess and waitress and all of the staff were very... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while walking around the city. It was a good choice. The inside was rustic and comfortable and the food was delicious. My burger was excellent! Highly recommend trying this place.

The bison burger was delicious. one of best I had. Beer selection is good. Nice atmosphere and staff were friendly and informative. Don't see myself traveling here often but if I do, i can see myself stopping by.

Very crowded, but that usually is a good sign. Beer selection and service is superb. House Burger with Greens, Merrimack Burger, Hangover Burger along with app of Blarney Puffs, 2 Beer Paddle's, 2 16 oz. IPA's, a soda, and a dessert came to $85. Take out the drinks and and the bill would have been about 1/2. Food was well... More

We stopped in for a late lunch to a nearly empty restaurant, once sat we ordered drinks and were served complimentary humus with bread sticks and pretzel rods, we should have stopped there! 4th humus was great, tasty and fresh and the pretzel rods and crisp bread sticks complimented the dish. Decent selection of local brews on tap was a... More
