I am happy to say I looked on trip advisor for a place to eat! I took others advice & found this place in downtown Concord! The waitress was so sweet & brought free hummus & breadsticks first thing! Homemade hummus was delicious! The reviews said their burgers were Award worthy so I had one with smoked cheese, bacon, &... More

Dark interior (ceiling has seen better days), nice wood flooring. Table spacing is excellent - you don't hear the next table. Wait staff was not prompt in greeting us after sitting down (approximately 7 minutes before being approached). The homemade hummus is superb and the pretzels & breadsticks were good. Spacing of the meal was very uneven. We waited a... More

Just the kind of bar I like! The upstairs bar can get pretty crowded but it is small and I like that. The food here is always excellent and the beer selection is always good. I love that they always have some beer from local breweries on tap.

Across the street from the golden dome of the Capitol building sits the Barley House restaurant. We went on a Saturday Night, about 7pm, and had a 30 minute wait - not too bad. It was clean and welcoming. Lights were dim and it had a tavern feel, with a bar and two dining rooms. The hostess and waitress were... More

A restaurant that understands and can cater to gluten free automatically gets a bump up from me, hence the excellent rating. Our waitress was super nice. The kitchen brought out carrots and celery to go with the humus for my GF hubby, something that we both appreciated. Others had breadsticks and pretzels with their own humus. I didn't try those... Typical dark pub interior. While located in historic downtown, the interior could use some sprucing up to be more cheerful. I imagine the atmosphere would be better in the evening. Food and local draft beer was only average. It was a slow afternoon and our server Angie was not that attentive.

Downtown Concord is alive and thriving! This restaurant is right downtown on the Main street with street parking. Has nice atmosphere and cozy tables and booths even sidewalk tables. We unfortunately got a new waitress, she was a little slow (other tables got their food before us). Two of us had the brick pressed chicken with walnut n cranberry sauce,... More

It was a weekend and it was busy. It took awhile for the food and when it came, no one checked back to see how things were. I would go back bit not on a weekend.

Visited this place with friends and all four of us were amazed. The service, the quality of the food and the attention to detail are out of this world. The fried brussel sprouts are amazing, as well as the Guinness Brats. The Dublin and McBarley burgers are also winners. If you're in Concord, you NEED to stop here.

The food and drinks were excellent. Steaks were done to perfection. Specialty drinks were great. There is something for everyone, and I had two very picky eaters with us. Everyone was pleased. Our waiter was very attentive and polite. We had a 20 min wait for a table they text you when your table is ready giving us the chance... More
