Delicious lunch on a chilly day!

My husband and I took a weekend trip to stay at a B & B in Hopkinton (another place we recommend called the Old Story Farm Bed & Breakfast Inn) and decided to visit nearby Concord to walk about. We stopped in at the Barley House which had a trendy lunch menu with a tavern/pub-like atmosphere. We... read more

The Barley House services some of the best food, beer at a great price. Staff is friendly and very helpful. If you planning on stopping by Tuesday is night to catch some old school Irish music.

The Barley House has a great menu - both food and draft beer. Relaxed atmosphere is perfect, even the choice in background music. Service is always excellent.

As they say, "The Road to the White House starts at the Barley House." It's across the street from the NH State House, and it's a really super place to go -- just for a lunch or dinner with friends or family or with a date. My kids (range in age from 25 to 34) absolutely love to go to... More

Loved The Barley House so much we went there twice on our last trip through Concord. Really good craft beer selection, but I hope they get a larger selection of local brews soon, and good, stick to your ribs food. Good quality and value. My 2 tips are to ALWAYS ask for dressing on the side, notoriously overdress the salads,... More

Food is always very good, with interesting specials. They try to keep the taps interesting and always have a few great bottles too. Nice atmposhere and fun, ineractive bartenders. The Cobb Salad is delicious and my husband loves the Guiness burger. Never a bad thing to say about The Barley house...Except that they aren't open on Sundays.

My family and I found this establishment by accident 3 years ago and now we make sure we stop at least once when when we visit Concord. The food is awesome , menu and beverages are diverse. The home made hummus is to die for.

I have been here a couple of times with friends and they never let us down with their food and drink! Its a great place to hang out after a show or movies. A great atmosphere with excellent service. It's one of my favorite places on the Main Street.

After the movies, this is a great place to get together with friends for a light meal and drink. The beer menu is outstanding and the burgers are top notch. Lots of other offerings to choose from so no one goes home hungry.

We go to the Barley House every few months. A great atmosphere, lively, a good menu, consistent quality, generous portions, and good service, This is a popular place for good reasons.
