We stopped in Concord on or way home from Mount Washington and I found this place since it was right off the highway. We loved the beer selection and friendly service. My boyfriend got the Bison BBQ Burger and I got the Brisket Dip Sandwich. Both were fantastic and the chipotle ketchup was a nice addition. All in all, we... More

There's a reason why the locals hang out here. Great food, great bartenders, great selection, great waitstaff. If you're in Concord, you should definitely stop in.

We love the Barley house for a quick stop after work or when shopping on Main Street. The food is good. The beer selection is great. The wine selection is a little more limited. The homemade hummus served when you are seated is a really nice touch.

Stopped in for a quick dinner with colleagues and found the staff to be really helpful, knowledgeable, and communicative. Excellent drink selection as you might guess from the name. Really good fish and chips and a couple surprises on the menu, like the korean burger. Very reasonably priced.

I love coming here for lunch whenever I am meeting to discuss business. The food is great and the service is friendly. I love to get the hamburger with fryes or try one of the specials.

I always get greeted and feel welcome when I eat at Barley House. This time I had a signature burger cooked perfectly. It was, however, difficult to eat with all the additional ingredients inside the bun. I was surprised to see they won an award for best French Fries in the area. If that is so, the others must be... We went for lunch and had a wonderful server named Sam. Sam was very knowledgable about celiac disease and gluten free menu items (my husband has celiac disease). She talked about not being able to guarantee against cross contamination. They have a delicious house made hummus. Instead of pretzels to dip, she brought my husband carrots and celery and his... The food was good, but the service was s-l-o-w. Check your bill carefully, we were charged for a drink we didn't have. Our waitress took it off the bill straight away, but there was barely an apology.

The basic hamburger was quite good, but the fries seemed commercial and had no taste. The Chicken Pot Pie was lukewarm, thick chicken stew ladled into a soup bowl, upon which a pastry top was dropped. Quite tasteless. The Barley House 10 year pale ale was just OK. Next time in Concord, I'll find someplace else.
